Thought I had enough of social media yesterday then got on this morning on the ride in and sports talk was all what everyone was saying. Like steve kerr being "Scared" because everyone voted for a racist.

You know when a bunch of little kids are on the playground and one kid says something crazy so the rest all start parroting it? A huge portion of society are social parrots and their position in life is to follow trends. That's why advertising is so successful. Its not because you're showing someone something they want. It's because you're convincing them they need it in order to fit in. If everyone was truly individual there would be chaos. Submissive followers are the foundation of society. All you need is the right kid on the playground.

Politics is not something a lot of people are comfortable discussing, sort of like religion BUT if you choose to engage you should at least try to bring something to the table other than clichés. Its obvious we don't know these people, you don't really know anyone when it comes down to it.

This is a good analogy. Also, people like to point to the people who endorse him (like the head of the KKK). Like he has control of that. There's no doubt that ego plays a huge role in every presidential election. You need a healthy opinion of yourself to go through the scrutiny. I think he's one of those dudes who needs a constant challenge. He has more energy than I do at nearly half his age. Something like this would present itself as the ultimate challenge. Hillary has been preparing herself for office since childhood. Trump was a celebrity democrat tossing up hotels, grabbing pussy and blowing mad coin then one day he's like "I think I'll be president and, fuk it, i'll run as a republican" and he proceeds to create one of the lulziest campaigns, wreck her and supertrigger 50% of the country. He's an extremely unique human being.

About 50/50 in my experience. Cali has term limits for state office, so they were all trying to work their way into national politics one way or another. In their view, once they were a Congressman/woman, they were set with a cushy job, easy re-election (mostly), and retirement.

I posted this to my ******** wall as a response to all the people posting his comments on TV:

Van Jones calls Trump "arrogant", a "bully" and a "bigot". Perhaps what you don't understand, my liberal friends, is that is exactly how we see Obama and Hillary. For eight years, we have been told that compromise means submitting to their view or being demonized and vilified.

Your President took office with a majority in the house and a supermajority in the Senate, and took the stance that he didn't need us to govern. Either we would submit to his directives or we would be crushed underfoot. When he lost his ability to govern by brute force, he tried to do it by fiat - by executive order.

He took clearly racially-based stances and made demonizing white males (or gun owners, or bankers, or corporations) for society's ills his modus operandi. He chose not to acknowledge that there were legitimate worldviews other than his own. He chose divisiveness and contemptuous bullying over discussion and compromise.

I hope with all three branches of government under our control, we will do better at unifying and healing than he did. But I urge you to look within yourselves for the seeds of the defeat you sufferred yesterday, rather than continuing down the road to failure that your President took.

The most logical approach would be to enforce current immigration laws more aggressively and create an environment that doesn't encourage illegal immigration in the first place such as heavily penalizing business for knowingly hiring/exploiting them. Create a fast track to legal status for those that are willing to put in the effort. The chaos of illegal immigration creates horrific living conditions for them. They're exploited for cheap labor and forced to exist in the shadows. Streamline the system on both the supply and demand ends and we can keep things running smoothly without being inhumane.
