Thought I had enough of social media yesterday then got on this morning on the ride in and sports talk was all what everyone was saying. Like steve kerr being "Scared" because everyone voted for a racist.
Can any of these *******s actually talk about anything other than what the media says? Or let alone, point me to where he actually said something racist?

You know when a bunch of little kids are on the playground and one kid says something crazy so the rest all start parroting it? A huge portion of society are social parrots and their position in life is to follow trends. That's why advertising is so successful. Its not because you're showing someone something they want. It's because you're convincing them they need it in order to fit in. If everyone was truly individual there would be chaos. Submissive followers are the foundation of society. All you need is the right kid on the playground.

Overheard my boss say to coworker about elections "nobody has the ability to find out what's really going on or what they really stand for... " followed by some nonsensical drivel. I'm realizing as i get older that common phrases or clichés are so true. Mainly, ignorance is bliss.

Politics is not something a lot of people are comfortable discussing, sort of like religion BUT if you choose to engage you should at least try to bring something to the table other than clichés. Its obvious we don't know these people, you don't really know anyone when it comes down to it.

This is a good analogy. Also, people like to point to the people who endorse him (like the head of the KKK). Like he has control of that. And shocker a white power organization doesn't support Hillary...so can I say all of the communist supporters endorse Hillary? or does that make me an insensitive racist bigot?

I fkn hate politics. SRS.
In my younger years, I worked for a local Farm Bureau. Part of my job was lobbying and I spent a lot of time in Sacramento at our capital building. The people that work there, both elected and not, are the high school kids that were very unpopular/nerdy/awkward and now have a little power. They never grew out of that high school mentality.
The only thing that comes to mind for a reason Trump would want the position is pure ego.You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

There's no doubt that ego plays a huge role in every presidential election. You need a healthy opinion of yourself to go through the scrutiny. I think he's one of those dudes who needs a constant challenge. He has more energy than I do at nearly half his age. Something like this would present itself as the ultimate challenge. Hillary has been preparing herself for office since childhood. Trump was a celebrity democrat tossing up hotels, grabbing pussy and blowing mad coin then one day he's like "I think I'll be president and, fuk it, i'll run as a republican" and he proceeds to create one of the lulziest campaigns, wreck her and supertrigger 50% of the country. He's an extremely unique human being.

About 50/50 in my experience. Cali has term limits for state office, so they were all trying to work their way into national politics one way or another. In their view, once they were a Congressman/woman, they were set with a cushy job, easy re-election (mostly), and retirement.
True in his uniqueness. His ego has been around for a long time. You can pull up old Oprah interviews with him when he was the eligible bachelor. They were asking him back in the 90's if he would run for Pres.

I'm sure you're tired of the FB drama and I am too. I actually deleted the app from my phone in fear of causing irreparable damage to some family loved ones. But this one I have to post.
My sister's friends were wondering how in the hell Trump got voted in with other libs asking the same question. So in the nicest way possible I said this is basically what happened. That and Obamacare.
Her reply "Ha! Figures white, privileged males who have never had to fight for anything and can't figure out how to grow and evolve with us as to become a better nation would not only start a revolution but also blame other for this. Bahahha this is perfect actually!"
I'm pretty sure she just proved my point.
I'm done with FB. It's like trying to argue with a tree. I deleted the app and I'm staying out of it. That sister is coming to visit my mom and dad today from Spokane so I need to establish a political free zone at their house so WW3 doesn't erupt like Hillary so wanted.Toxic Masculinity

Gix, you need to get to your parents house before your sister and decorate it with trump stuff
I asked my mom to invite her ultra lib sister over for a trump party this weekend
She's been very vocal about the whole thing(she's a transplant from cali that moved here)
Best part is, she's moving soon to guess where?.............. the newly red state of PA!Dallas Cowboys

Although this is narrated my Michael Moore in a satirical fashion, he does an excellent job and sounds pro trump
I put this up there with trumps speech that Gix keeps posting(which is epic btw)
If trump does blow it up, the only thing that worries me is the federal reserve
We currently are the world reserve currency and will stay that way until confidence is lost in our fiat currency
Trump blowing **** up could impact the fed and thus our status/quality of life and ultimately, warDallas Cowboys

The most logical approach would be to enforce current immigration laws more aggressively and create an environment that doesn't encourage illegal immigration in the first place such as heavily penalizing business for knowingly hiring/exploiting them. Create a fast track to legal status for those that are willing to put in the effort. The chaos of illegal immigration creates horrific living conditions for them. They're exploited for cheap labor and forced to exist in the shadows. Streamline the system on both the supply and demand ends and we can keep things running smoothly without being inhumane.
