You just might on squats That never has been a good exercise for me, mechanically, when using a shoulder width stance. Going wide I think I could close in on 600 if I worked at it, but that does not give me the development I want

Good workout. Shoulder flared up a bit during pulldowns, but other than that it was fine. Did some heavy chest work on the machines, and it felt fine. Weak, but fine. Tommorrow's my last deload workout, Lower II. Quads are still sore from 2 sets of squats I did tuesday, but have no choice but to go on with the workout since my gym is closed Saturday due to the game.

Like them better then flat; feel more natural. The only problem is that getting them in posistion is a bitch. Kinda have to do a reverse curl to get the bar to your chest, and then press up.

    Nice lifts there!

Do you use a reverse grip while doing bb shrugs?
The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and hear all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds. ~Henry Rollins

Thanks. Usually I do a double-overhand grip with straps. However, that day I forgot them, so used a power grip. Ie. one under, one over

    400x4 (stack)

    Abdominal Machine
    110x20
    110x20
    110x14

    Notes
Opted not to do front squats b/c, well I just didn't feel like it. It's a deload so who cares. Anyways, I havent' done deadlifts in ~5 weeks and have not gone above 300lbs in probobly 4-5 months. Still, I was not too happy with my performance. I wanted at least 12. But oh, well. Legs aren't 100% from Tuesday's workout, and worked back yesterday, so I guess it ain't too bad.
Rest of the workout was pretty boring and took 25 minutes. Never hit failure on the rest of the workout.

edit: and the reason the warmup weights are 'funny' is that we have to use 'bumper weights' when we do deadlifts; and these are in kgs. I have no idea why this rule is in place b/c all of the weights in the gym are rubber plus we have rubber matting
