Right or wrong, I have used Clorox disinfecting wipes for years on all of my equipment. I keep a can in the gym and have used them to wipe down handles, contact areas, and all types of pads from Cybex to Body Solid. Never had any issues, kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria (or so it claims).

Yeah I keep a can of Lysol spray in the gym. Smells nice.
Light mist on the Rogue flat bench every month or so or if I have a particularly sweaty workout. It still looks new after a few years so I guess that works well.
In other news, I'm officially addicted to stainless steel bars. The feel is just so much better than coated bars. And they feel just like bare/raw steel but without the maintenance to deal with. Sooo I have a Rogue 28mm SS Oly bar en route to add to the phenomenal Rogue SS Ohio Power Bar. I changed my mind and opted for the SS Oly over the SS Pyrros to better fit my current training needs. The SS Oly has a milder moderate knurl, lacks a center knurl, and has a faster spin. My training has shifted a lot lately to higher rep stuff (CrossFit??), much more Oly work, more cardio/endurance, with less emphasis on 'just' powerlifting. This bar should fit in very nicely. If I get decent at Oly lifting, I may buy a "PR bar" later on down the road. Ha. That would be a bar with more bite to the knurl like the Pyrros or something from Eleiko.. but I think I'll be fine with the Rogue SS Oly for a while.

They didn't actually clone Rogue's design this time. Titan's hooks look more like a clone of these:

YES! That bar looks like a ridiculous value for the specs. I must say I lean Very heavily towards USA made equipment, but that Rep bar is on definitely my list. $269 for a FULL STAINLESS bearing bar w/ 205k steel is unheard of... The knurl is a bit of an unknown, but if I had to guess, it'll be pretty mild. Regardless, that bar looks fantastic. I may pick one up as kind of an "everyday use" high rep bar and use the Rogue SS Oly more for specific Olympic lift work in the lower rep ranges.
Jason, do you have the 28mm Rep SS Gladiator bar? I didn't recall anyone on here owning it..Equipment Crew #68, Ivanko Crew #47, Rogue Barbell Club #7, Mech6 Crew #30

Yes indeed. Funny you mention that. I filled out a survey this week for Kabuki and told them they needed to lower their price to sub $400 on the Duffalo before Rogue comes out with their own version. Lol. I told them they were over-priced on all their bars about 20-30%. (I may have shot too low. Ha)
I'm also hearing that Rogue is not really into doing stainless sleeves on their bars as it's too costly.... Weird b/c Rep is offering them (Full stainless bars.. shaft & sleeves) at such Great prices.Equipment Crew #68, Ivanko Crew #47, Rogue Barbell Club #7, Mech6 Crew #30

Serious question.. should I send Rogue a pic of your sweet keyhole monolift attachment to see if they'll start building them? I mean, it's so glorious.. others should have access to it.. right? Can you sell them the design rights or something? Maybe they can name it after you in some way.. just a thought. I will never sell my Rogue Monster rack due to this fine monolift attachment, btw. My wife thanks you.

I don't but would have gotten it if it was available when I got the Excalibur which for a bushing bar spins very well and use it for oly style lifts. I've seen a couple good reviews for the Gladiator. The Excalibur is pretty mild but grippy in the phosphate coating. The Gladiator from my understanding is slightly more toward a medium knurl.
I'm "patiently" waiting for the more aggressive SS PB and hoping it's at least a deeper medium knurl.
This I thought was a pretty good review of the chromed version of the Gladiator. Looks like he actually used the bar and put it through some decent training before reviewing.

This review site has more pics of the knurl which does look better then the Excalibur

Would want to confirm with Duke if the SS bar has the same knurl a the original chrome versionLast edited by Jason2459; 06-18-2018 at 10:47 PM.

Yeah, I'll pass. I guess they just assume the demand is not there for keyhole stuff..
They also have a few attachments that only work with their 2x3 & 3x3 monster lite lines. It's weird, like they built the Monster line b/c they had too, but they don't really support it as much as the other lines. I've owned this rack almost two years now, and I still love the thing, but it's very disappointing, and strange that they only offer a couple keyhole attachments, and then it's very odd items (bar horizontal storage??).Equipment Crew #68, Ivanko Crew #47, Rogue Barbell Club #7, Mech6 Crew #30

I haven't researched other company's keyhole attachments, but I DO know that my Monolift attachments for keyholes that Mech6 made is 100x easier to move than rotating a 30 lb. weirdly shaped object 90 degrees. I've owned both. The keyhole design is awesome.. in that case. You simply lift "up" and "out" and it's off. I'm not sure what other attachments would benefit as much as a monolift attachment (a heavier, awkward shaped piece), but I'm sure they are some out there. Personally, I would love some kind of GHD attachment as I simply do not have the room have a full-size GHD in my gym.. but I'm not holding my breath. (Their current rack GHD Echo offering is not made for the Monster line, though I may still buy it soon and drill larger holes to make it work).
It seems like j-hooks may be able to work better with keyholes, in that, maybe, it would prevent them from rotating while in use? Possibly.. yeah that'd be nice.Equipment Crew #68, Ivanko Crew #47, Rogue Barbell Club #7, Mech6 Crew #30

Excellent response. Thank you for the insight.
I can definitely imagine messing with adjustable monolifts would be made much easier without the lift and quarter turn to remove. I think keyhole j-hooks could be tremendous, but I'd worry about potentially knocking them off/loose from the rack if you caught them on the way up accidentally.

I have drop in mono hooks on my Magnum rack and I agree with all the comments of how much easier they are to move/adjust. I have lightly bumped them a couple of times and they didn't move any, I can't imagine knocking them off unless you were purposely trying to with and empty bar.
Now OK for Sig line to be a novel

I'm not a fan of cerakote coatings but to dress up a new stainless chan bar this looks nice. First implementation cerakote I've liked.
