Pafum > EdT
Parfum is smoother, more refined, and clearly uses superior ingredients. Less spicy as well, but to an unexperienced nose the differences aren't as obvious.
Projection is about the same, the only reason I bought the EDT was because I managed to get a 90% full bottle for $50

Those with GIT: Which batch do you have and how is it? I just got A3210K01 and read some less than enthusiastic things.

I can't believe how much juice some of you guys have. I have a bottle of GIT for the fall/winter and Green Valley for the spring/summer. It works well because they both have about the same base but GIT has that extra spice for colder months and GV is greener for the warmer months. Synergy, my friends.
So it goes...

I heard the initial spray could be weird/not so great, but was really nice after dry down. I didn't spray it on my skin, so I sprayed it on one of those testing cards. I'll have to try it on my skin.
Also, does anyone know of any places that gives out "free samples" or any kind?itanimulli

if you go to sephora you can get a few...if they can sense that you are pretty serious about finding cologne they'll give you more than that...just sunday I was in there and got about 10 different sample tubes...this was before I decided to buy 1 million
if they can sense that you're just there to get free samples you're only gonna get a few....but you could also get a chick that just doesn't care and will give you tons tooDallas Sports/Texas Tech Red Raiders

Creed Millesime Imperial
L'instant de Guerlain Extreme
Dior Homme Intense
Bond No 9 Riverside Drive
Chanel Allure Homme Sport
nice fragrance collection
It could have been the tar middle note that you smelled. But the chocolate/caramel dry down is very nice.
Just did a bottle swap for 1 millionLast edited by wampa; 12-07-2011 at 07:13 PM.

today I wore chanel allure and a few of the girls said it was too woodsy for them(the few girls that smelt it are not attractive so they don't count) haha I liked it though
took a shower and then put on guccci-guccci on one arm and guccci pour homme II on the other and like both...although the pour homme II smells more like a cologne for a night out....the guccci guccci smells like a daytime/work scent
had to spell guccccccci wrong to get it to show up...lol, BB.com thinks ***** is well...ya knowLast edited by Ben6485; 12-07-2011 at 08:51 PM.

anyone know how close the antonio banderas "secret" cologne is to 1 million? The have two versions, not sure which one is the better one, never saw it in stores to verify it was a 1 million clone (kinda like the Cuba scents)

Try reading those. The ONLY thing that is different with mine is there is no accent above MILLESIME and I haven't looked into the meaning of that. His is a 2011 batch and mine is 2010, and he said there are subtle difference in older boxes. Everything else is spot on with the first link, right down to every aspect of the bottle.[]---[] Equipment Crew Member No.18

I wouldn't sweat it. Mine does have the E thing though after the mL. But mine is a 2009 bottle so that may be why.

How do you guys alternate between so many fragrances? Do you wear them seasonally, or depending on the day/night? I have 3 main colognes, and ~5 small samples that I'd wear sporadically, but I don't know how I'd alternate between say 6 full ones.
edit: btw, i've gotten compliments for acqua di gio already and i've only used it a few times, bought it 2 weeks ago. great recommendation misc, i'm enjoying the smell.Last edited by soundcheck; 12-07-2011 at 09:56 PM.

I'm pretty sure it's this one
The reason why it's similar is because Christophe Raynaud created it. He's one of the three guys (Christophe Raynaud, Olivier Pescheux, Michel Girard) that created 1 million. Many say it's like a watered down 1 million (with less projection/longevity).
