Because its always the same questions : I want to compete but I im skinny fat and i cannot afford a coach and I need to step on a stage to feel loved and i dont want to gain muscles coz muscles are gross and my bf wont support my goals... In our gym (YMCA) it was always kind of understood that you wear the appropriate clothing. There were no rules in writing... A couple of years ago a girl, in her 20s, started to come in with a sports bra and no shirt. Then the signs went up! Shirts are a must, both men and women.
