Everything you've said about the Patriots tells me you don't follow them and just saying whatever pops in your head. Even your analysis of the Vikings is really weak. Have you watched them play? If you had you'd realize their MO is strong defense and run the ball down the opponents throat.
Vikings are averaging 191 yards passing a game with 5 passing TDs this season. That puts them almost dead last in both categories.
Patriots are averaging 279 yards passing a game with 10 passing TDs this season. The puts them top 10 in both categories. Not to mention, those stats were against bad teams, just like the Giants.
Tom Brady > Kirk Cousins
I'm not saying Gordon is guaranteed to score more points than Diggs this week. That's my opinion. What I was mainly getting at is your analysis or comments about both the Patriots and Vikings were so far from truth that I wanted to respond.

Viking are run first?? Wow... brilliant analysis.
No **** man. Throw out their game 1 against falcons which is an absolute outlier and they average 235 yards passing. With all their recent drama they clearly have a new emphasis on not completely abandoning the passing game. 300+ last week. Thielen got his last week, wouldnt be shocked to see them force feed Diggs a little against a secondary that allows for that.
Even at 230 and 5 split amongst just 2 targets > 280 and 10 amongst 5 or 6. Gordon remains a boom or bust flex play and definitely not a big enough upgrade over Diggs to warrant the trade.
I described a couple game scripts I definitely see possible. I could very well be wrong, but it's not from lack of applied reasoning.
Tom Brady > Kirk cousins. Wow.... bold statement.
With that said, how many tom Brady pass catchers have finished above thielen and Diggs last 2 years?

Got an offer on the table. My Amari Cooper straight up for his Melvin Gordon.
I'm fairly deep at WR but they've been a bit disappointing. I'm thinking if I do this trade I can ship out either Kerryon/Monty plus a WR for a better WR.
RBs: Kamara, Kerryon, Montgomery, McCoy
WRs: Amari, Juju, McLaurin, DJ Moore, Shepard, Sutton, Hollywood

Not bad and I might take it, but I'd be worried about your WR's. Juju is under-performing but could slide into your WR1 and McLaurin could be your WR2, but I don't like trusting the Redskins for every week starters. The rest are fine but you'd be making decisions every week. Since you are willing to flip Kerryon or Monty for a WR, maybe you could do that in this trade. What does the dude's team look like? Maybe you could counter with Cooper and Monty for Gordon and a WR2/3 from him.

Olsen. TB isn't good against TE's and I think last week's performance was an outlier for Olsen, and they will likely force a few targets his way this week to make up for it. At least I hope all that is true as I'm in the same boat as you playing Olsen with Waller on his bye.

300 yards passing last week from the Vikings? That is good! Who did they play? Oh, yeah the Giants LMFAO...Diggs had 3 catches for 44 yards.
The game scripts you think could happen aren't backed by any evidence from previous games that would support your game scripts theories.
We can go back and forth, but I think we both have said what we wanted. Like I said before, one of us will be right and one of us will be wrong. I like Gordon a little more than Diggs this season. Vikings brought in Kevin Stefanski this year because he has a run first mindset, unlike last years OC who was pass first.New England Patriot

Why do you like Tate tonight? His greatest benefit is also his greatest downfall. Being the only viable option on offense means the Patriots will focus on him more than anyone else. Playing in the slot means he'll get Jonathon Jones, who is playing lights out right now, but maybe he can do well?
To answer you question, I would start Woods, Fuller or Tyreek over Tate this week. If Tyreek plays, he starts. If Tyreek is out, I would say fire up Fuller for a shootout in KC. Woods would be a safe option as well against an average 49er secondary.New England Patriot

Mason Rudolph is actually practicing and hasn't been ruled out to play Sunday night. I'll believe it when I see it. Outside of the obvious that he was out cold even before his head bounced off the ground, this also isn't Ben we're talking about and Devlin Hodges wasn't exactly a downgrade of any sort in the game last week, so there should be some motivation on the Steelers part to see what Hodges can do with a full week to prepare when they can very easily write off sitting Rudolph as "being cautious". They clearly aren't contenders this year needing to go 9-2 the rest of the way to have a realistic shot at the playoffs.
