lol I was sitting on the end. everyone yelled for me to get in the middle since i paid for the boat and invited everyone. dude taking the photo kept telling lanklet bro to lean in cause he wasn't in frame. 6'3 but probably a buck 80 and typical midwestern kid/salt of the earth type. Not a malicious bone in his body... just a lanklet with endless limbs lol. If he was a douche bag macho bro i would probably have felt the need to jock for dominance but when you're on a 48 ft boat/yacht with drinks flowing, attractive girls and a nice view you really don't even think about that type of fukery.







lol I think i'm the lone fan of Aventus Cologne itt. i have a hard time recommending it if you have elysium though. I rarely wear it as a scent of the day, i use it as sort of a "refresher".

for example after i bust my ass in the gym, come home sweaty as fuk, take a nice cool shower... I usually hit myself with 2 or 3 sprays of aventus cologne after the shower. It's a great light/crisp scent when you want to wear a fragrance but don't want some heavy complex chit bogging your nose down. it's great for them 80+ degree days but i wouldn't say it's a projection monster. I love it for that small use case. Don't pay retail, and i'd start off by just securing a 5 or 10ml decant and going from there.





It's been awhile since i smelled that one but i definitely remember thinking it was even more enjoyable than Virgin Island Water. Excellent summer fragrance.

I’m with you on Aventus Cologne. I’m a fan as well. Nice and fresh but with the Aventus DNA in there. And I’d put VIW near the top of my summer list but Erolfa would be right there too

If you have elysium, it may be a bit redundant to own both. That being said, Aventus cologne is a bit brighter than aventus, and you could use it to stretch out your Elysium bottle. I probably perfoms better than elysiym parfum cologne

Nio is one my favorite scents and has really good longevity but sits really close to the skin. I love the opening and wish it lasted longer. I can’t remember too much about the base it been while since i worn it. It came with meteorite which was cool i guess, but wish was a bit cheaper instead.

Probably grabbing Renaissance as it is more citrusy less spicy. Plus it's $180 for 100 ml compared to Nio at $200 for 50 ml.

I like it a lot. Slight difference in the opening, but after like 5 minutes it's damn near identical. Neither GW or OW are strong performers, so don't expect beast mode performers but the scent itself is damn good. I think even Charles would agree.

I also got a sample of Peace of Mind that Im looking forward to wearing tomorrow. (and a small bottle of AF sanitizer)

Not an expert, but if you like grapefruit, go with Renaissance. Not a big fan of those two, but those are some of their better citrus offerings. Aubres is a better version of Renaissance (focuses more on lemon with some incense) and worth getting if you can find a partial or decant IMO.

I'm feeling like ordering a sample pack from Alexandria and ordering decants of the originals so I can compare. I think I'll do that for fun, I haven't bought anything in a year and I'm missing the excite feeling of a nice haul.

By the way, yesterday night after bathing I did one spray of amber aoud(sample spray mind you) to my wrist. Stayed strong well into the morning. I then took a shower, came to work and 5 hours later I can still smell amber aoud on my wrist. And I'm one of those guys who bathes really fuking thoroughly. Incredible performance. What in the fuk. I will just get a small decant of the OG man. All I need is 1 spray, a small decant will last me forever.

Not to my nose, Game Time is like a 60% Aventus / 40% BR540 mix. You can easily smell both but the Aventus (or Brasilia or whatever the hell it's called) leads the way.

I agree there's nothing in there that feels unique but I won't call this scent forgettable. I had a really nice impression of it when I briefly sniffed it years ago. I think if I could only have one of the "blue" fragrances I'd choose this one. I think YSL Y edp is the final evolution of the modern designer blue genre.
