I tell you, there's been some hot WMs I worked with, and for. And dated. And had barracks parties. And gone on road trips with. And overnight stays. And stuff.

Yeah, the stories are definitely worse from A/C school. In all honesty, it's not really hard to see. Take a bunch of young kids with amped up sex drives, deprive them of sex, then put them all together in a controlled environment with not much else to do outside of each other; then subject them to a large amount of stress. It's like MCT, whichever smart 9999 decided co-ed platoons was a good idea ****ed up. I was on New River when they started that, so many pregnancies coming out of Camp Geiger.

Glad to hear it man!
Still enjoying that civi life.
This thread popping up reminds me of the disagreement I had with someone here.
-He stated all SHW powerlifting are obese
-told him obese is subjective. 280 power lifter fat ass different than 280 do nothing fatty
-he said at my height (5'10) should be 185
-Explained to him in USMC I was 225 which was 30 pounds obese by military standards. Still a 275+/300 PFT who didn't look fat at all
-says it's still obese.
One of my platoon sergeants was on the cover of Muscle/Fitness during the military issue. He was a fat ass as well. :-P

Strong username to post content.
He tried to make that argument in a powerlifting thread. So you can guess how that went. :-P lol
I don't know where this mindset has come from these days. it just bogels the mind how they think the scale will tell you anything about someone's weight when Arnold was "Morbidly obese" during comp phase. :-P
Surprised they taped you man. Were you fleet/infantry?
I by no means had a six pack (probably 15% bf. No way more than 18%) and the scale test was just part of the formality. My unit was pretty cool with weight.
1) do you look like a fat ass in uniform?
If no proceed to 2
2) are you a 1st class PFT'er??
If yes disregard weight on scale.

Go back to school or go work outside the country. it'll be one of the best things you do for yourself. Just get the **** out of the States if you want to be rich. The U.S. is tanking and that's a fact, right now they really aren't producing anything.
---------long post here don't read it may be boring------------
Most people here kinda knew my story. After the Marines I went to school, worked in visual effects before opening my own company. At the height of 2007 I was easily bringing in 50k a month for myself with over 30 artists. By 2009 after a year of the housing crisis it really affected my studio to where I lost a ton of cash trying to keep the studio afloat, clients stopped calling because no one had cash, and ended up firing all but 3 of my artists.
By 2010 I ended up moving to China because all the money seemed to go there. First three years I thought I made a mistake. When I opened my first company in China it lasted a little over 3 weeks then it closed. Fastest I've ever seen 100k USD go down the drain. A few months later I opened my 2nd company with a local Chinese guy but this time I had an investor who threw in 800k USD. Things went well in the beginning but 2 years later alot of the money was missing after a detailed audit. The chinese partner I had was skimming cash, we were dealing with local chinese clients and they're ****en shady ass mother****ers. Closed that down and just chilled for about 6 months and hanging out with friends that also got burned by the locals and we got very very drunk daily. We ended up opening another studio. This time with another Chinese American born in NY and an Italian dude. We started out with just 8 visual effects artists, my friend from NY is a director, and the italian dude was a cinematographer. We came up with the idea that we only cater to foreign clients and things just boomed. All our contracts we sign are always US contracts so this way we got some form of protection. Right now this company has grown to over 250+ people. 1/4th of the people working for us are all americans, europeans, or australians. We went from doing commercials for like Mazda, Nissan, Ford, Heineken, AB-Inbev etc to now we deal with Fox, Paramount, WB, Dreamworks.
Point of the story, get the **** out of America if you want to get rich. The reason for this is America, Australia, and Europe is too saturated with talent and quality so your worth is devalued. You guys can't imagine how happy these American or European companies are when they hear an Expat company is going to work on their stuff because then they'll go by all Western rules and regulations which makes things easier for you. You will never get the same price as if you were in the states but it'll be significantly higher than what the locals get. The overhead cost will be cheaper so in the end you do actually make a better profit.
But 3 most important in my opinion is:
1. choosing the people you want to work with. You all got to have a common drive. For us it was easy... we all wanted to get back into Hollywood
2. Never trust the locals especially in Asia. They will screw you
3. Whatever you produce it better be on par with whatever the US or Europe is able to bust out.
Once you make your millions you can go into semi-retirement, invest your cash in real things that can make you even faster cash like houses, or pray for things like more Brexit to happen then throw parties when Brexit does happen. Brexit on an international level it sucks but for me I love it. Before Brexit HSBC stock was at 46 bucks. Right when I saw the brexit vote and the market tanked, it was like being in a 1 man gangbang with big titty babes. Next day I bought 20000 shares of stock and within the last 2 days the stock has risen by a dollar so I made 20k. Now I'm waiting to see who the next US president is because regardless if it's hillary or trump the US is going to do a nose dive because both just suck and that will affect market prices, then that's when I'll be buying more land.
Not me, only thing I do miss is talking / listening to everyone getting ****ed by the green weenie. There was something I saw on ******** after the Orlando shooting of some Cpl taking a selfie with his rifle saying coming to Orlando. My first thought was thank god I'm not in, that fool just gave everyone 2 extra hours of safety brief.Let's put a smile on that face :)

Hey y'all, got about 8 months left. How many of you used the post 9/11 bill? And did they pay you BAH for summers in college where everyone gets it off?

I'm not out yet but I plan on transferring the GI to my wife when I do separate. From what I hear you get E-5 BAH if your going full time, but you have to pass your classes and not jerk off the whole time.. It's a good gig.. I also paid for the Montgomery GI during Basic training but I still have no idea how to use it.. Hopefully they'll inform us when I take TAPS

Yeah I heard about that E5 BAH but my buddy that just got out said they don't pay you for summer breaks which i don't understand if you're a full time student why would they not pay you? Your living expenses don't just go away during the summer
