Anyone playing Blazblue? If so, what character do you use? I'm thinking about maining Rachel - I just see a lot of potential in her drive attack.

FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK the 3rd party dude said he tried to fix it but the problem I have isn't the common problem (eg. similar to the red rings of death) he said that it might be the actual CPU or GPU that was fried.
So looks like I'm forking up over 200$ to sony to get it fixed... almost doesn't feel worth it since i can get a brand new 80 gig for less than 2x that much.
**** man, when i invest 600$ in a system I want it to work properly for the entire time I have it, I haven't even used it half as much as most users, I consider myself a casual gamer. it's bull****. you think i should get it fixed? I mean, no offense but nothing except ff13 coming out this year seems appealing to me.... maybe I'll just save up then buy a new one when it comes out.
either way I'm pissed.Stickam Pimp

that sucks man...id be extremely pissed b/c i shelled out like $800 when i bought mine...$50 for geek squad installation...$120 for a huge ass hard drive...$50 for a 2nd controller...$500 for new 80 gb system with mgs4 bundle (was a lot when i got it)...$70 for wireless router...then bought another game and the tax as well...of course i get to keep the router and controller etc...but still....if a system is gonna be that damn expensive, it better be reliable and do its job...that's the sole job, to play games and be used as an entertainment machine (ie to use the web browser, go to the psn store, play blu-rays)...i also consider myself a casual gamer...i play probably once every 2 weeks at most...(though i used to play like 10 hrs a day on ps2 with ff10 etc...used to be a total vgame nerd)...i just dont have time anymore with work...but if my system went considering how rarely i use it, and that i probably use it 50/50 for the blu-ray capabilities, just as much as the gaming aspect of it...i couldnt condone spending anymore money on it...fortunately i can afford it with my job if it does go...but i feel for the younger guys who save their ass off working a terrible job to pay for their dream system and then it goes to ****.../rant, i myself am not pissed, it just upsets me to see people's money get wasted when stuff like this shoudlnt happen...i mean my ORIGINAL NES as well as my SNES and genesis still work...to compare, my NES is from the mid 1980's, over 20 years ago...with today's technology, stuff like this shoudlnt be happening...i sometimes feel like it is a ploy that companies specifically program into certain consoles that they will fail after a certain period of time, to boost their income when they have to repair them (and of course people are going to repair them with so much money invested in the pricey games)...same way shady mechanics will do with cars...i dunno, maybe im insane but gl getting a new system brah.

Why does this sound like something you shouldn't be doing anyway, lol... Like reading a book while driving. ruggerirish, get ya back on recharge.
NY State proposing ban on gaming while driving
New York doesn't want you distracted while steering that 2,500 lb. hunk of metal plastic, according to a recently passed bill brought to our attention by Buffalo Business First, banning all kinds of behind-the-wheel diversions. If you often enjoy a quick round of Retro Game Challenge or Patapon while at a stop light, know the cops would be able to confiscate your handheld and totally erase your game saves. Okay, we made that up. Offenders would actually get a $150 fine.
The new law (much like Hawaii's) doesn't just apply to games and, should it pass, will make a number of activities on your phone (text, surf the web, hold it up and look at it) illegal to do while driving. Sure, it has everyone's safety in mind, but we really think the government is crazy if it expects us to pull over and park every time we try to level up our Pidgey.

The PlayStation 3 May Be Doing Better Than People Think
"It's in third place." "Sony messed up." "Sony is doomed!" Unless you're new to the Internet (in that case, welcome!), you've probably heard all of the anti-Sony PlayStation 3 comments before.
Ever since its launch in 2006, the PS3 has been often called a failure by some Web sites and people (and of course, fanboys).
Even in 2009, with Sony's outstanding game lineup, people are still criticizing the console and its games. The point is, people still love to hate the PS3. But is any of it true?
To quote: After doing some research, I've come to the conclusion that no, it's not even close. In fact, despite currently being outsold by the Wii and Xbox 360, Sony's latest console has been doing a very good job.
First off, there's the sales. As of March 31st, 2009, the PS3 had sold 22.91 million units worldwide, while the Xbox 360 sold 30.2 million units. That's a lead of approximately 7 million.
But when the PS3 first launched, the 360 had sold 10 million units (since it had a one year headstart). That means that since the PS3 launch, the 360's lead has shrunk by 3 million units.
Now let's look at the last-gen consoles. In their lifetimes, the Gamecube sold 21.74 million units, and the original Xbox 24 million. With the PS3 at 23 million, that means that it has sold the same amount as the Gamecube and Xbox in about half the time.
Lastly, there's the issue of cost. Sony lose money on every PS3 sold. In 2006 when the PS3 launched, Sony were losing approximately $250 on every PS3 sold. But now with Blu-Ray development costs dropping (as well as Sony taking a few features out of the console), the development costs are (as of January last year) about $450.
80 GB PS3s currently cost about $400, which means that Sony is now only losing $50 per PS3. The development costs of Blu-Ray will continue to drop, which means eventually Sony will start making money off of the PS3. Until then, though, they still have sales from the PS2, PSP, and other electronics (such as TVs and standalone Blu-Ray players) to help recover their losses.
So, with the PS3 selling the way it is, and Sony not having any real money problems, I think that the PS3 is doing pretty well, and it's only going to improve over the next few years. To everybody out there who says that the PS3 is a failure and will be discontinued, stop kidding yourselves, please.

Yea.. I have my profile on my friend's younger bros PS3. Every time I buy a game I just login into my account from his PS3 and download the game for him. and he doesn't know my pw so he can't go on their and buy ****. so as long as my account is on his PS3.. he'll be able to play the games.. when he deletes my profile then the message "you must be signed in to use this content" will come up.
