Not even close. Chappelle did the skit bc saying "KOBE" when throwing something was so common and what everyone did. So that's what made it funny when he through the condom in the trash.

Maybe people were doing it before but it did not blow up until after the Chapelle show did that skit

I was never a big Kobe fan, but I did watch his last game against Dallas in 2016. My friends and I chanted GoatBe while he put out some amazing jumpers in the first half.

His death was pretty shocking and really gave me some perspective into how fragile life can be.

Also, I shudder at the thought of him, his daughter and the others free falling to their demise. Hope it was quick and painless

It was MJ for me grade school to college graduation.
But it was Kobe from that time on.

I'm 45 yrs old and I cried like a baby.
My 20 yr old son who I introduced to basketball at a very young age idolized Kobe since then.
He locked himself in his room most of the day.

This is still hard to believe until now...

I don’t remember what it says but it shows a diagram of the damage to his body. Its pretty terrible.

at least death was instant, fuark mane cant imagine what everybody in that chopper was thinking just before it crashed into the mountainside. fact that some young kids died too.

I'm guessing no one realized a crash was going to happen. Watch the video posted above. They were descending at 4000ft/sec when the fog was really, really bad.

I can't understand how the pilot thought they were climbing instead of falling.
