Horror movies?
Are there any good horror movies anymore? Damn my desensitized generation..."The world will look up and shout save us... And I'll whisper, no."

There are really no horror movies anymore. It's all about gore.
Edit: Freddy was cleaver, witty, and downright hysterical."The world will look up and shout save us... And I'll whisper, no."

I have august underground moratorium on my computer (I have a TON of horror movies on my external harddrive... I spent alll last year dl'ing them.)
That is THE ONLY movie I couldn't finish.
Seriously man, the stuff they do in that movie is just too much for me, it is wayyy too fucked!!"Friends come and go, but 200 pounds will always be 200 pounds."

From Beyond -- One of my favorites... In the era of hack and slash films, this movie had a an actual well thought out plot. It was gory, but that was not as deep as it went... Plus it made you think about weird stuff....
Event Horizon -- Again, good story, sent chills down my spine when your mind runs off with ideas about the plot, and when you really look into what happened to the ship...

Anyone remember Audition?
Would you consider that horror or gore?"The world will look up and shout save us... And I'll whisper, no."

Gonna check out that fire in the sky..
Does anyone remember the name of this 90's flick that was more like a collage of short stories, one of the only things i remember was that it included the urban legend of the escaped mania with a hook for a hand, and the teenage couple find his hook on theyre car's door handle?(no, not urban legend the movie..waaaaaaay before that)
