Maybe, that's why I was curious. Well, I was thinking that cruises are fun but instead of being stuck with married couples for a week, you'd be hanging out with other singles in your age group.

It's Saturday evening in Melbourne.
I stopped playing video games seriously (will still play casually if something epic is released) months ago so I have nothing to do. No scheduled training either.
it's winter here downunder, but it should be a bit warmer at 50 degrees tonight.

Contemplating going down to the city to observe Chads and Stacys again lol
Haven't gone out to the city on a weekend night in years. (the post I made last week wasn't exactly downtown, just hanging with some mates in a Italian suburb)

Don't even know what to do going out alone like this.

Where do I even go? Clubs that play music are the only option I guess. Less weird in a club than sitting at a bar alone getting drunk looking awkward.
I do like EDM and the atmostphere in these huge dance halls but I can't dance myself. At least I'd be there for a music.

But clubs might have lines at the entrance. Will they even let a currycel like me in? Don't even know what to wear. I usually wear leather chelsea boots or chukka boots but it might look weird at a club so I guess I should wear sneakers.
I'm way too old to be going to these places as well.. but thankfully most people think I'm in my 20s.

The last line really says it all; even if you went out to socialize you wouldn't know what to do with yourself if things were laid out for you. It sounds like you refuse to let yourself have fun and enjoy things. You want to go to a club to have fun but you know you're not going to dance because you "can't" ? Then find something else to do with your time and enjoy it instead of over-analyzing everything and having mental preparation for every conceivable outcome

Maybe if you go on Carnival or a party cruise, but regular ones not so much. It's mostly couples and families.

Well there's a number of reasons why a guy would get upset when told a woman isn't interested in him. Personally I don't get offended if a woman isn't interested but still prefer a bull**** excuse over what she is honestly thinking. Funny how that works

I told him he seemed like a nice guy but that I just didn't feel that attraction. And that I don't think it works out well when men and women try to do the friends thing. Cause back then he'd asked about going out just as friends after I told him I wasn't interested in anything romantic. I said the same thing back then.

Or instead of "I'm seeing someone" you could say "I'm not looking for anything right now" or "I can't do a relationship at the moment." Guys know what a woman really means when she says "You're nice but it just wouldn't work"
