Also still have Lost Cherry on my mind and how choking that is.

I usually wear Oajan, Herod, SB Extreme in the winter and Shock isn’t as powerful as those. On me Atleast.

I got some mysore sandalwood in today. Man this stuff is great. It’s better than the 4 other sandalwoods ive owned little bits of. However, i dont have any top-grade mysore to compare it to, just my other non-mysore ones

Oh the little decants were just thrown in. My gf works in the head office for a company that carries TF, Creed, Kilian and Floris; which means nice discounts on those brands and some nice perks when visiting their stores (like samples from discontinued flacons they have just sitting around behind the counter).

Cherry smoke is a nice leathery cherry that leans much more masculine than Lost Cherry and Electric Cherry. Imo for the price per ml I don't think any of these new TF releases are really worth it; especially when you can get classics like TV and TL for much less

I wore Elysium parfum last weekend to a ball hockey tournament. Played 5 or 6 games that day and midway through the finals a guy on the other team was running next to me and told me I smelt incredible. Fairly impressive to see it last that long considering I was lying on the ground trying to rest before our final game thought I smelt so bad from sweating + I feel like I can't smell Elysium after a few hours on my skin

Wish I got a bottle of Plum Japonais before it got discontinued. Have you tried Andy Warhol by Bond No 9? I heard it's very similar.

Over the years I acquired a couple bottles of GPH2.

I feel that its an awesome scent (probably top 10 contender) for sure.

Sample them and report back. I have one sample of YOSLY and used it a couple of times. Smelled nice although it had little projection and barely lasted a few hours. I’d love to hear your feedback on the others because that’s a steal.

Ok cool. I hate when they send non spray samples. Le Labo did that and that’s about as stupid as you can be for a house.

Are they unisex or are there scents for women? I am hoping either all unisex or a blend of male and unisex. If a couple are for women I’m okay versus half the box.


SOTD: Acqua Viva

Upon first opening, it reeks of lemon pledge and that is what I first smelled. The synthetic note drops off after maybe 30m to a smooth, sour lemon with a faint hint of cedar. Very clean smelling, very much a comfortable scent. What I love is the natural lemon oil smell it gives and it’s lasted a few hours so far. I do think it needs a hint of sweetness to balance out the sourness and some more of the woody note.
