Just had a long talk with my mom.
Actually didn't flip when I told her my grade. She told me I must switch my major with something without math. My mom is seriously so old school and she told me to major in anything just to get my degree.
wtf man I don't know what to do...should I switch my major to like Communications or something?

Yeah, I told my mom it's a joke major.
They seriously live in the 80s. I told them unless you have a Math, Science, Engineering, Computers degree or Business degree from Ivy League School, it's useless.
Im so ****ing stressed out right now brahs. I've seriously never been like this in years since my HS days.☆☆☆MISC BOXING CREW☆☆☆

Just take a day or two off from everything and everyone and just clear your mind of all this. Spending all day every day thinking about it is going to drive you insane.
I'm dealing with some bull**** right now as well and frankly I've never felt worse(which kinda sucks because just a week ago I was as happy as I've ever been). I took the weekend off from work and I'm just gonna drive down to outer banks with my dog and just hike up and down the beaches all day to get my head straight.*Cam Newton Crew*

True.
I just don't know, really depressed right now.
Business Econ.
This is my 2nd time taking it and Summer will be my 3rd. It's actually techincally a "Part 1" of Pre Calc. I would still have to take Part 2 before Calc. This **** is not for me man.
Regardless im dropping the class and I have to take it again in the Summer anyways, so it replaces my F, so I can hold off on thinking on switching my major until then.
And I really don't even know what I want to do. I kind of picked Econ, because it's just such a broad path and you can find so much with it. I have to admit, Communications and working in within some advertising or network kind of interests me, but the degree is useless.☆☆☆MISC BOXING CREW☆☆☆

GBY, keep your head up man.
It sounds like you were just put in an unfortunate circumstance, like having a bad teacher. I'm not sure if you do this, but you should check out rate my professor. It's a great site to determine what teachers are good at what they and what they aren't.
If you are thinking about changing a major though, maybe you should consider something like marketing or management. I'm not sure how much math you need to know there, but I don't think it's as much and as crazy as Economics.
Keep your head up and things will turn out alright. You just gotta fight through and stay positive.

You're kidding right?
Communications is a great start.
You get a good idea of what truly interests you.
Not reading any further back but what are you currently majoring in now?
And you're mom is 100% right.
Why are you so stressed about getting a job after college? You need to get a college degree regardless of what it is. Just as long as you do what you're passionate about. Dont worry about the salary range or how long you have to wait to "get in the door".A paradox.

Thanks.
Thing is, my school is notorious for being difficult in Math. I really ****ed up not waiving it last semester, because then I wouldn't have an F and I could just take it at CC. Now I have to take it at my Uni or else a C or better wouldn't replace it. I use Rate my Prof. all the time. This prof. got good ratings for being nice, but a 2.0 for easiness. He's the head of the department. I honestly feel he enjoys seeing students struggle and fail. He even said it in the beginning how he loves seeing so many kids struggle. (srs) He gives like no partial credit, either. Claimed you must know your simple Algebra and any mistake like that is automatic all points off, yet he makes tons of errors on the board every class. Then today a student raised their hand asking if they'll be a curve. His explanation? I will think about it, but probably won't go in affect until end of semester as there will be students who are going to drop the course and he'd wait until then. Seriously?☆☆☆MISC BOXING CREW☆☆☆

She moved back home(about 7 hours away, which is longer than I initially thought) a couple days ago.
I talked about it with her last night but it didn't get real far, was too sad lol. We just agreed that we'll take a wait and see approach, let things settle and go from there. She's coming back in a few weeks to visit so I'm kinda stoked on that. Still pretty depressed, but I still talk to her all the time so it's not as bad as it could be. Ah well.
In the mean time I'm going to pick up another job and just work my ass off to keep my mind off of it.*Cam Newton Crew*

You will if you don't go to a T14 or T30 w/full ride.
In other news, after a lengthy application/interview process, I was offered a job as a financial advisor in-training. The firm is investing 12-19 months in training me internally (apparently a very prestigious program; only 2 people a month get in nation-wide) and paying me $40,000 to be a student basically.
Hasn't set in though, was just offered yesterday and I still feel like a peasant.

Inb4 people call me an idiot for wanting to go to law school to get into the sports world but...
I was looking around at law schools in the Chicago area. Basically...it is almost impossible for me to get into Northwestern Law right out of college. The typical age they accept is 26. They want people with masters or work experience. I'll still try getting in there but fuk brahs...2500 applied. 300 got in. So this sort of took a shot to my heart until....
I started looking around. I was thinking about skipping my senior year of school here and going to this law school ( was going to do this last year but cant now), but the school isn't ranked very well...So i keep looking around. I look at Loyola Law school. Meh, ranked decent, not too tough to get in to, but it doesn't have anything great.
Then I look at a school that's slightly better ranked than Loyola, pretty good chance to get in...they offer an Entertainment and Technology main focus for law. So I go look under it...they have contracts, music, movies, internet, etc all the good stuff. They even had a sports law class under that course. And then I found this:

The lawyers and law school people I talk to always tell me that is true if I want to work outside of Chicago in a really good law firm, but with most schools in Chicago they are all names here so I don't have to go to the best. I just have to graduate high in my class if I want a job in the Chicago area.
This guy that works out at my gym told me he graduated from some no name law school in Michigan and he got a pretty good job 3 months out of school. He just had to apply to a lot of places, but he nailed the interview and loves his job.Last year I spent more money on spilled liquor in bars than 99% of miscers make in a year.
