i was thinking about buying red dead redemption 2 this weekend but thought about it and decided to buy far cry 5 instead.

Thats like forgoing one of the best Netflix series of all time for a 2 hour action flick at the theater

il buy rdr2 eventually, probably sooner than later but i wanted a good modern FPS now.

I’m enjoying RDR2. Moves at a good pace, mission difficulties aren’t too hard, aren’t too easy. I don’t like games that get you so aggravated with hard missions that you can’t enjoy the story. The depth of background and detail Rockstar has into all these characters is nuts.

Damn you can get bogged down real fast in side missions on RDR2. Have been playing for like 12 hours now. Still in chapter 2. Lol

I've got 3 animals left from the map - they are all in the blackwater area and west of there, which is still all on lockdown for me - tried going over there and there's like 2903523 lawmen and bounty hunters waiting for you, and they literally do not miss any shots. I even ran back across the river and they were still dead on with every shot - I died

Take the Diablo world and put it into an MMO platform like WoW with the dark Diablo graphics.... That would have been fuking epic.



How do I check how many hours I've played on RDR2? Not sure what I've played so far but I'm finally about half way into Chapter 3. lol

I've got a 16" AR with a CTR stock right now. I don't particularly care for it on this rifle, it's probably too light compared to the front of the rifle and the cheek rest is kinda meh, too.

Will probably replace it with something a tad bit more substantial.

From what I've read you should do a few manual saves throughout ch.3 cause it's the best free-roam chapter in the game, that things change in ch.4 onward
