You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

No although I was expecting it, but didn't figure he would be willing to part with the sparkling male thong I hear about so often. I did notice a strangely pungent odor coming off of these plates....this explains everything....mutasan what's the return policy on these things?

I think I got at least 20lbs stronger just from staring at them all day. I have never seen a set for sale or even seen a set at all in my area, I'm sure Tennessee is probably close to the same situation. The globe dumbbells I scored worked out great in getting several sets through different trade deals. I have 4 sets on the way, I will post pictures once I get them all.

Sweet set. Why silver plates? Have you thought about cleaning the bar?[/QUOTE]
I thought i might get busted on for painting them silver. I had some extra cans of silver spray paint kicking around so I went with that. They were rusted pretty bad so they look 100 times better. I've thought about cleaning the bar. I use that bar in the power rack mostly for squats. What's the best way to do it sandblast, wire brush on a die grinder, wire brush, or sand paper? Then how would you finish it paint or leave it?

Go through the entire York thread, but here's a summary:
Take off your sleeves.
Use CLR and green scrub pad to clean the sleeves, flange & donuts.
Use CLR lightly with a rag on the barbell itself. (I prefer not to damage the finish of the bar and a scrub pad or wire wheel will do exactly that)
Lube the sleeves with a light coat of 3 n 1 oil.
Put the sleeves back on.
NEVER PAINT A VINTAGE BAR. Wire wheels, sandpaper, grinders are overkill. Avoid! It doesn't take a lot to get these bars looking good as new..RARE. VTG. HTF.

I found 3/4 of a large flying cockroach in a can of lychee fruit from Walgreens a few years ago. It was cut cleanly from anterior to posterior.
I had bronchitis and was picking up my antibiotic perscription and grabbed the canned fruit and and soup on my way out. The canned lychees sounded good... probably because I was dehydrated ...and a bit loopy with fever. Anyway, I went home and started scarfing down the fruit straight out of the can... thinking it was the BEST thing in the world... then I saw it.[]---[] Ivanko Barbell Crew #32 []---[] ()---() York Barbell Club #43 ()---() ▉---▉ Equipment Crew #50 ▉---▉

Years ago this brand of cereal bar was popular in my family, until we got a box one day that had live maggots inside the sealed wrapper of every bar in the box. It was a brand new box, so that meant they have an insect problem at the factory. Needless to say we don't buy this brand anymore.

I have seen "reports" that are saying how in 50 years or so the population will be so large that we won't have sufficient room to raise livestock. One solution for the protein shortage will be to consume insect larvae. mmmm.
Here's a product that apparently let's you farm your own in the kitchen
