As for me, I don't give a chit about Fire Emblem games. They stopped being interesting a long time ago, now it's just kinda cringy.

BRB not 100% focused on story so it's disappointing


Three Houses had too much social aspect for the sake of having it and he was headed in the right direction with his criticism but.........didn't want to piss off Nintendroids so kept it as middle of the road as possible. Lost a lot of respect for him on this one.

Overhype, I'm sure -- while I'm sure it will be good, it gets this insane "BEST GAEM EVAH?!??!" hype, come on. IMO, I do like the 3H shade creeping out, all these people NOW willing to talk about how great the departure from the Persona relationship chit which I hated in that game. Shows what shills so many are, though. I got banned from I think "Nintendo Life" some fuking place for dumping on 3H

Gaming sites are basically all about towing the line these days, most of them are simply trying to promote whatever big new game comes along and they don't want people being too honest about them. It's why they get such overwhelmingly positive fanboy feedback, because nobody else is really allowed to say anything about it.

Incorrect. Critics are a bad gauge of a games quality. They highly rated Death Stranding and TLOU 2, both at the time Sony exclusives, both bad games IMO. You'll need better arguments in future I'm afraid.

No, it’s fine to prefer Mario rabbids to fire emblem. They are both good games

But I’d argue they are pretty different types of turn based strategy games

I am playing on the maddening(hardest difficulty)/classic and having soo much fun. Haven't been this addicted to a game in a long time.

Highly recommend it if you guys are looking to scratch that strategy itch.

Nice man. There are I think 3 games on 3ds, Awakening really blew the series up

In terms of the two Switch entries:

3 Houses: probably the most interesting story and writing imo. You pick from three different houses and story has big alterations depending on what you pick, also adds to replay ability. In between missions they added aspects similar to Persona. Where you can interact with party members and such and grow them

Engage: haven’t played it. See my original post and vids for info. But seems to be more the old style of fire emblems
