I have long been an aficionado of the old NO-Xplode, it was my reliable, no frills PWO supp of choice. Clean energy that doesn't keep you up all night, good pumps, good endurance.
So after finishing my rather large supply of the old Xplode, I ordered the new one in Fruit Punch flavor.
First impression when taking it is that the powder is finer than the old one, which makes mixing it easier. They also toned down their trademark fizz, good, I wasn't a big fan of that. The taste is also improved, it's right down delicious, well done BSN!
Unfortunately I can't be as positive about the effects as I am about the taste. With the old one, I could feel a surge of energy and tingling 5-10 minutes after drinking it, but with this one I don't really feel much. A bit more endurance in my workouts than with no PWO at all, but a bit flat overall. Also pumps aren't as reliable as with the old one.
I had hopes for the new formulation, as I said, this has been my go-to PWO through all the craze (pun intended) of miracle PWOs and I don't look forward to going through more sample begging to find a new one.
Oh well, maybe it's just me.

My experience with the new formula was pretty much exactly the same as above, verbatim. Mixes better, the pop of the top on the shaker cup from built up pressure after shaking is almost gone, and the tingle is much lower, all compared to the old Xplode.
The old mixture was also my fail-safe, when I didn't want to try anything new out I fell back on N.O. Xplode because it had always powered up my workout in the past. Thinking that would still remain true, and maybe even more so after the new formula had been praised, I purchased a tub at the beginning of last week to give the new mix a whirl.
My verdict: Complete disappointment. After giving it a 3 day trial run, an increased heart rate was about the only noticeable effect it had on me while in the gym. No increase in drive, no increase in focus, no real push outside of how hard I would normally push myself without taking a pwo. The real effects came after leaving the gym, as it seemed to have given aid to the forming of some kind of "Energy Sucking" black hole inside of me. Sticking with the same sleep schedule and diet schedule I have been on for 6 weeks now, after sipping my post workout shake and heading into work for the morning I became a zombie. In result, I was drinking 2-3 cups of coffee throughout the day to stay alert and focused at work. Which, consuming extra caffeine after taking most pwo's is a big no-no.
The good news, when purchasing this stock of Xplode I received a sample of another pwo that might be the best supplement I have ever used. The universe remains in balance.

The new hottness is Royal Sport LTD Siege. It has been reviewed on here but I don't have enough posts to post a link. If you search Royal Sport LTD Siege it should be at the top of the results page. The title of the thread is "Royal Sport LTD Siege PWO ***One of the best pump products you're not using!***". My full experience is thrown in on that thread.
It's pretty great as far as how it works for me. No beta-alanine and no creatine so there was no skin tingle/itch or bloated feeling. It gave me the best pump that I can recently remember and provided me with great energy and focus, not just in the gym but for hours afterward. I am a Cellucor C4 user normally and didn't think anything could outshine it, but Siege pulled it off.

Thanks for the review! And I must say, I agree with the lesser "rush" of energy feeling... I liked that as well... I was also a fan of the "fizz" too, it really made me feel like I was drinking something "hardcore" lol.

I'm going to echo you guys on this. I got a sample of the new one and I was sorely disappointed. I didn't get the skin crawling feelings and the taste was off a little too. I feel like it had the aftertaste of the flintstone vitamin. I didn't feel a huge surge in pump. I prefer the older one to the new one.

Taste & endurance are far superior. If you want that sudden jolt of energy,HyperFx is the way to go. No xplode is an all in one pre Wo ,with some energy being one asset however, so is muscle, hydration, pumps,etc...
