Heys, I'm pretty new to PL and was wondering what a PL routine looks like. How many days, how many sets etc.
I'm gonna go for:
Squats 5/4/3/2/1
Bench 5/4/3/2/1
Deads (Til I max out) so about 5-7 sets of 1 rep
Military Press 5/3/1/1/1
and do it 3 times a week.
How does that look? any fixing? etc...?
Thanks

That's going to get you destroyed. That type of workload should be spread out over the course of 4 days with assistance work during every workout. PL training is a whole another ballpark from BB, but we're still on the same planet more or less.
This is a sample 5/3/1(popular and simple routine for lifters of nearly all levels) workout:
Bench Press
Dumbbell Rows / Kroc Rows
Dips / Close Grip Bench Press / Floor Press / Board Press
following this rep scheme for the primary movement(Bench Press) while the assistance movements will follow some other arbitrary rep scheme(3 sets of 10)
Week 1:
Set 1, 5 x 65%
Set 2, 5 x 75%
Set 3, >5 x 85%
Week 2:
Set 1, 3 x 70%
Set 2, 3 x 80%
Set 3, >3 x 90%
Week 3:
Set 1, 5 x 75%
Set 2, 3 x 85%
Set 3, >1 x 95%
Week 4: DELOAD
Set 1, 5 x 40%
Set 2, 5 x 50%
Set 3, 5 x 60%
I'm not saying that doing all of the compound movements in one day isn't feasible, in fact it's very common and something I used to do myself when I was doing the Texas Method. However, power lifting is a lot more than trying to smash your 1RM every single workout on multiple lifts.
