Dude I'd probably pass out at signups.

Anyone ever spend time with a SEAL? I used to mountain bike with a guy who was active in the late 90's. He had let himself go physically but still had that "must not quit" mental attitude and would attempt to keep up with the fastest guys which typically resulted in him projectile vomiting or making a fatigue mistake and taking a hard digger. Dude was a true animal.

I could not do it and never could.
I consider it a challenge every day to take cold showers."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Is it "Hell week" or is it "Everything prior+hell week"
Prime me was "competitive standard in 4/5" Swim would fuk me, but assuming I took swimming lessons before hand.. about a 30% chance... LOL
That being said... Part of the issue is that these people are not fresh when they start hell week. You take a fully fed, fully rested, non injured bad ass and have them JUST do hell week. Rates would go up.Finance Degree - USAF INTEL - IIFYM - Injured Crew - KTM XCW300 - Single Track Trail Rider - NRA Supporter - Shunned from MFC - Libertarian - Pragmatist

Trying to get your ideal outcome often leads to the passing up of practical alternatives that deny your adversaries theirs.

Yeah well they aren't looking for people who can perform under perfect circumstances when they are well rested and well fed. They are looking for people who strive under adversity and have a never quit mentality. Lots of people make the cut physically, actually everybody there probably does. It's 99% mental.
