Winter Break.. To Work Out Every Day?

    Hello All,

I've got winter break coming up. Starting Friday Dec 21 - Jan 30 (Yes, it is that long).

For the past month I've only managed to go to the gym 3 times a week, and usually the pattern fluctuates, for example one week I'd do Mon-Fri-Sat, and the other Fri-Sat-Sun, as a result I didn't consume as much protein as I should on off days. I would usually eat only 100g on off days while on workout days I'd eat 175g, same goes for creatine. I don't take it on off days.

Is it a good idea to workout everyday for the next month and a half? I see it as such a perfect opportunity. Because I find it troublesome to go more than 3 times during the time I have school. I guess my muscles would hurt, but thats a good thing right? Any supps I should consider taking if I do for muscle recovery?

Btw I am bulking right now till mid- February '13 (3000-3300 calories/day).

I'm srs. Wouldn't make the thread if I didn't care.

Though I guess 6 days a week with a Sunday rest is the least I'll go. Any advice for the obvious muscle pain DOMS I am surely gonna have to endure?

I've been lifting 7 days a week (almost) for the past 2.5 months. 28 days in october, 29 in november, and 17 in december.
I don't have too much of a problem with the proper cycling of muscles, as I find myself fully recovered within 36 hours.

Idk, I guess the best way to find out would be to try.. Everyone's body is different.

It depends really, if you find that your lifts aren't progressing as quickly that you'd like.. or that you're not gaining as quickly as you'd like then I'd suggest cutting it back. But everyone is different, do what works best for you and get's you to your goals.

I found that in October-November when I was going 5 times a week I was able to dumbell press 75s. But now am barely able to do 65s on my own and require assistance to get the 70s up on the first rep.

Personally my body recovers abnormally fast. I could go 7 days a week no rest.

If your like me then why not go for it.

If you see signs of overtraining just take a rest day as needed brah.

You also just made a thread about how you have made zero progress and asking others for help, so you are probably the last person to take advice from about training everyday (no offense).

OP, don't train 7 days a week, I understand your intentions but just do a 3on/1off; you will feel burned and will want rest on the 4th day anyways srs.

Plateauing is not making zero gains, its making minimal gains. And I've made extreme gains the four months before the last two months on the same regime (6-7 days a week).
I've also trained 6-7 days in highschool where I made my biggest gains so I'm going to support my previous comment.
But I understand your concern and eagerness to criticize, so i'm out this thread peace.
