Well ive been told for some superior gains i should be taking a BCAA supplement as well as my whey. Sure, whey contains BCAA's but not i nthe concentration it should.
So if buying a pure BCAA supplement, what should i be looking for?

I would also consider EAA's (Includes BCAA's):

Pu,
I know you have involvement with controlled labs but after read all the info above im keen on getting some bcaa's.
In your opinion is purple wraaths eaa more worthy of my money than a bcaa supp like Xtend or ICE? Their all the same price so why would anyone purcahse ICE or Xtend when purple wraath does what the other products do plus more?Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.

The reason that some are taking both Xtend AND Purple WRAATH is to megadose. The OPTIMAL time to take free-form BCAA / EAA is pre / during workout... BUT that doesn't mean that there aren't benefits of mixing some in your water bottle and sipping on it throughout the day... and in that scenario some may want different flavors or no beta-alanine = Xtend.
For pre / during workout the choice is clear... and it's PurpleLast edited by pu12en12g; 04-24-2006 at 11:00 AM.
