Got back from that coach I've been talking about, and it was fascinating to see somebody work with such confidence and skill. An amazing observant and very knowledgeable about the mechanics of running and what an athlete expects and needs from him. My favourite part was the discussion with an athlete offering to do more mileage per week. He was firm and very clear about his concepts, and it tied his whole coaching concept together.

I sent an application to a gym for a cleaning position (like, cleaning, not oly-ing). This is the response I got.

Pffft. I kindly pointed out to them that their website says differently. I suspect something is going on, since their social media haven't been updated since February, but I thought it was rude and lame.
Still excited about the Coach yesterday. Such a contrast between both coaches I visited!! With the rugby organization, I did a quick 'how to' about benching.
Y'know what the trouble is? These girls don't get the time to master technique. At all. So, I'm asked to outline a complete set up for bench, which does not really transfer to close grip (covered that as well) but 1) too much info, 2) no great carryover to the exercise they do, 3) element that CAN be transferred won't be monitored throughout the week and in all related exercises, 3) they use too high loads to press safely, let alone safely with a new technique.First time order at iHerb.com? I ghaven't gotten a workout in in the past three days, and consequently haven't done enought stretching.
I asked my sister to shoot the Assess & Correct pictures for me, and the following stands out:
1) Excessive lordosis (prob. tight hipflexors)
2) Left hip is strong enough to support my body straight, but I cannot get the knee up as high. Howsomdever:
3) My right knee raises up high, but I tilt my foot inward (adductorstuff!) and I pull the hip out of allignment as well. I expect I need to work on hip mobility.
4) The shot for upward rotation scapula wasn't great, but I'm mobile enough. Will work on this though..
5) Right shoulder is higher and slightly rotated inward (to be expected judging earlier hip stuff).
6) HEad position slightly more forward than usually (again, related to forward tilt pelvis)
Meh. Loads of work to do, still.
Solutions, for now:
Still doing Spider Man Walks with High Knee Raises and overhead reach,
Maybe bowler squats again (or x-band side steps)
retake overhead reach pic
Be religious about shoulder work

Sounds like things are really picking up for you with this, that must be a dream to be able to get to work with (good) coaches like this. Hopefully a related (paid) position can open up soon too, keeping fingers crossed for you. Too bad about that job that lied about having an opening, that must be frustrating. Why are those rugby girls benching so heavy with poor technique and no time to fix? I guess that is the whole issue with weight training, it takes time to teach people to do it right and nobody wants to spare the time to learn if they are already involved in something else.

Easy Strength 21/40
Workout was okay, no big changes, pull ups felt easier, but i'm sorta waiting for big leaps in kgs. However, i still have 19 workouts left. Easy Strength 22/40
Front Squats: kept those light, 40kgs, because after all that time in the train, I was too stiff.
Pull Ups felt heavy
Overhead Presses were okay
KB Swings 28kgs, 20 reps, lost balance on #11.
Instructor said I looked pale, so I kept it short, and went home. It's Day2, so I'm weaker than normal and a little more emotional than normally. Not my best work.
Had The Talk at the rugby org. Next week is my final visit with them, so I can concentrate on the Campus Club.
