Where's that 405 video son? I ain't looking through past post cause I wanted to add a post and ask for it even though it's probably really easy to locate.
Edit: Already found it and watched it....spotter was USELESS didn't even help on the lift off. And who the heck was the dude in the blue hat, he stretched for the first 3 mins of the video almost back behind you.Last edited by Hishiad; 10-09-2012 at 04:22 PM.

Outstanding?
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

I just search google for whatever food I happen to be in the mood for. A lot of the time, allrecipes.com is one of the top results with hundreds of good reviews.

Wouldn't fly in Texas, but it's the type of stuff that kept my family warm during Minnesotan winters.
2lbs ground beef, browned, grease drained
Beans, drained & rinsed: 1 can kidney, 1 can black, 1 can red, 1 can pinto (Bush's "chili beans")
2 can black beans (with liquid)
1 large purple onion, diced
2 large green peppers, diced
1.5 cup corn (optional)
20oz tomato puree
20-30oz stewed tomatoes
Dump it all into a 6-7qt crock pot, then add spices (imprecise measurements because f that noise):
Make crock-pot-diameter-length line with garlic powder
Make two aforementioned diameter length lines of chili powder
Couple shakes of garlic salt
3 shakes dried basil
4 shakes dried parsley
5 shakes dried oregano
half spoonful of cinnamon (yarly)
couple cranks of black pepper
Squirt two large circles of Sriracha
Bonus: throw in 2-3 fresh jalapenos, diced
Mix and let cook for 8 hours.
Will be super thick, but have great flavor and texture.
Obviously really heavy on the beans, so prepare to tear up a bathroom a few hours later.the crew that poop poop poops crews crew

Let me blow your mind briefly...it has been my experience when making chili that the best method to "add heat" is to dice/cut the peppers (with seeds) and cook them with the meat as I brown it. Also looks like a sexy recipe will save it and give it a try.

Maybe they just wanted to make sure you registered your car in order to be in compliance with the law.

Are you just giving away ammunition for the next "I'm tall and I can't bench waaaa" thread? Think of the unracking ROM alone! Spoto works out at a huge gym and with other people. So he gets a good lift off from an adjustable power rack, I don't want the hassle. I'm sure it makes a difference, it would make an even bigger difference if I had an exaggerated arch that I would lose via my stupidly awkward way of doing it.
EDIT: Speaking of Spoto, I'll repost it here.
Watch the whole thing people. PS: I'm just about as good as that creed guy and I'm not on the sauce. SUCK IT, BEST 275 AND BEST BENCHER IN THE WORLD!"It seems like your goal is not to help."

Hopefully they're not lurking. But seriously, unracking the bar was practically half the lift.
No way to quantify it without actually doing it but there's no doubt in my mind if you had a proper bench and spotter combo going on like him, along with more of an arch, you'd be pressing more than 405. It makes sense to keep going the way you are because you're comfortable with it.
re: new Spoto video, I saw that. Great to watch. I wasn't BSing the other day when I said I wanted to train bench again. Not for a 1RM, but for reps with a decent amount of weight. Videos like that make you want to bench.
I maxed out on Hammer Strength a while back so it's tough to get stronger when you're doing 8+ reps on everything, and beyond a certain point DBs become more of a circus act than a test of strength. I'd never bench with the smith, only OHP, so going back to a barbell is the logical choice.

It would be fun to follow your progress. We've discussed the risk that goes along with it back in the old days, I still think it's manageable. If you know how to set up your upper back, where to put your shoulders and don't take too wide a grip(don't have to go all KK with it, but a slightly closer grip will sometimes put you in a stronger position, my grip is relatively close for my reach) it cuts a lot of the reasons people get hurt completely out.

i very much dislike adele. i do like the skyfall theme song. what annoys me the most about it is not that adele sings it, but that they released it before the movie. seriously. a big part of what i enjoy about the bond films is the opening title sequences, and i feel like some of that experience has been taken from me. not happy, jan.
the fat lady has sung. it's over.
and just where have you been? what sort of time do you call this, anyway?

I dunno, then. Some race. My coworker's girlfriend bought tickets, but then is stuck having to work over the weekend that it is happening. He told me about a race over that weekend and I quickly associated it with my birthday (easy way to remember). I believe he said Formula 1, but he was probably over-generalizing. I'll find out more information I guess. I'll let you know when i got more details.
I think it was obvious those guys weren't joking. Which makes them even more sad and pathetic.
Lawlz ^that.
I like that idea. Never did it before.-
