lol - the people I've met were from SC, TX, OH, KY, Canada.

Trust me, NY is full of crazies, too. Though my husband, who lived in NC most of his life, says he prefers the NY crazies to the NC crazies.

One person I met because it turned out we went to the same gym. The others I met at the Arnold a few years ago.

lol - nope. I'm in Clifton Park, so just north of Albany. One of my college roommates is from Kingston, and if I recall correctly, you're about an hour south.

Marius actually lives pretty close, though I've never met him. Gnomus was down for a couple of meets, but I couldn't make either one of them because of my kids' sports schedule. I could have met them both.

Met Marius a few times I can't say we're tight but if we lived closer we'd probably hang out a lot i am waiting for him to settle and get goats so I can go up there and make cheese lol

yeah eventually I'd like to do some strongman comp between PL competitions... just for fun and I am too skinny now I need to get fat again

Will do! No full meets in my future. Blew a disc back in January and did a number on my nerves. The outer part of my right leg and foot are numb. No more lifting weights from the floor, and I've laid off back squats for a while. Sucks!

There isn't anything to do about it. The nerve just needs to fix itself, or it won't. At least, that's how it's been explained to me. I've gotten back most of the strength (I estimate I lost about 50% at the time of injury in the 1 leg). Just need to let the damn thing heal. I'm hoping that holds true. Not sure what I'd do if I had to have back surgery.
