I'm in beta and we currently only get 4 people max per game.
Beta only goes to lvl 13. The initial levels own the hell out of D2. You have free or generating spells for when your power moves are down. I like that change. You only have 6 spells of different types available at a time, that changes the feel a bit. I liked instantly switching from AoE to single target for champions/bosses. You can basically respec at any time, it isn't a real respec though, you just swamp one move for another. This initiated a cooldown of ~10s so you can just change at will. You can swap easily for boss fights.
Wizard
Seems very cool to start. I'm not a huge fan of the disco ball at the moment because of the 35 arcane cost. My preferred spell at 10 was cold ray with a rune to make it a PBAoE. It was awesome for trash. So far magic missile is boring as a free spell, but the lighting spell is terrible. It is a short range V and hard to hit.
Monk
My monk is almost 13. The damn beta server was down all last night. I'm not a fan of the 3 hit combo moves. It is like a forced assassin charge from D2 and powerful on the 3rd hit. The roundhouse kick has a knockback which is annoying in 90% of the cases. The charging wave move seems completely useless at its current state. The giant bell move has a huge spirit cost and doesn't seem worth the spend, but it's competition is weak. I'd prefer the roundhouse kick at this point.
Assumptions - I haven't played these chars yet, but I've seen them in game.
Barb - So far, the most powerful up to 13. a 13 barb can almost double my damage. Leap is very nice for jumping down levels, past objects, etc. The Monks charge won't allow you to target mobs around corners or down levels. I assume the wiz teleport could allow similar movement.
Demon Hunter - Rapid fire looks like pure rape up til 13. I can't wait to try it. The DH was killing things before I could get to them.
Witch Doc - Supposed feels a lot like a wiz. I'll try this class last.
They're tinkering with odd things now like weapon damage being applied to skills. Supposedly if a skill says 160% of wep damage, it bases that off your main weapon (2h weapon or 1h slot, if you dual wield, one slot specifically says off hand). I'm hoping there is normalization, or it won't make sense to not use a 2H weapon v dual wielding since you essentially never use a normal attack.
I've only seen 1 rare item on each character, and that came from my 1st kill on the mini boss. I'm not sure if they're actually going to be that rare or not. I haven't seen anything like sets or uniques, but that is likely by design just for beta. I haven't actually read through all patch notes.~Barefooters Crew~

Oh you're right, just deleted a bunch of messages.
Tera is solable but some quests require help from buddies, like theres this world boss named Budda or something like that that was literally 3 shotting me, no way I can solo this.
I couldn't care less about the WoW stuff lol, if you look at my threads you can see I have 1.2 million gold and I don't even know how I'll sell it.

Just announced today, the Nephalem valor buff.
We’re working hard on balancing and testing Diablo III, and one of the major components is making sure that the end game experience is fun and exciting. We’d like to share a few of our goals for end game:
We have an enormous number of skill build combinations, and we want a lot of those skill builds to be viable and interesting
While there are millions of skill builds available to players, we don’t want players swapping skills regularly to beat specific encounters as they come up
We don’t want repeatedly running specific three-minute chunks of the game to be the most efficient way to acquire gear for your character
While a three-minute run shouldn’t be the most efficient, we also don’t want you to feel like it’s a two-hour commitment every time you sit down to play
Bosses should still feel worth killing
Nephalem Valor is one of the major new systems in Diablo III and it kicks in at level 60. Keep in mind that this is still in testing and we’re still working out the details. Here’s how it currently works internally: Rare and Champion packs already have great loot on them. By killing a Rare or Champion pack, not only do you get their loot, but you’ll also receive a buff granting you increased magic find and gold find. However, if you change a skill, skill rune, passive, or leave the game, the buff disappears. As an extra reward, if you kill a boss while this buff is active, you’ll receive extra loot drops from that boss.
The exact amount of magic find and gold find provided by the buff is still being reviewed, as is the amount of extra loot you get from a boss while the buff is active. We’re also playing around with whether or not the buff stacks, what the duration should be, and whether or not it should persist through death. We want to make sure the buff is strong enough to make staying in your current game more rewarding than creating a new game. At the same time, if the buff is too strong, it risks making shorter play sessions feel not worthwhile.
We expect this system will encourage players to stick with a skill build of their choice, select an area of the game they enjoy, and sweep it for rare and champion packs on their way to a boss, finishing off a run with a boss that’ll be worth killing. If you wanted a shorter play session you could be done at that point, but if you have more time, the path of least resistance would ideally be to stay in the same game and make your way towards the next boss.

cant wait for this game .. wow
im still confused about a few things, so i hope someone can clear them up (reps)(srs)
1. how do i obtain "legendary" items (magefist, goldskin, etc.) ? do i have to find/trade to get them ? or do i have to give my blacksmith materials to make it ?
2. how does mf work ? does my mf only count for me ? or my whole team ? and does it depend on who kills the monster last ?
3. the loot system is kinda confusing to me still .. can someone give me a detailed explanation on it ? i know that its private loot now and you cant see or take other players loot .. but explain the mechanics of it
4. i also seen on some of the gear that it says for example, "+1 random magic property" .. can someone please explain ? does this mean you get a higher chance at finding magic items ? if not, then what ?
will rep anyone who gives any answers

I'm worried about this game, but I have some faith that blizzard must SURELY know what made the past 2 games so popular, and maintain these elements. Even if some of them are already gone..
Anyway, I am excite. I think this is the first major game that hasn't released at a horrible time for me. I'll be done with school a week before

I started playing the beta last night. Thought it was pretty epic. Seemed a little too easy in the beginning, though the skeleton king was a decent fight. I'm sure it gets more difficult as you move through the acts (and harder difficulties obviously).
I understand how the new "rune" system works, but I'm confused as to gear/items and crafting. Is crafting really worth it, seeing as there aren't rune words anymore? I'm assuming there will be top tier items that can only be crafted, and which require rare items that are hard to find? Are gems and stuff gone as well? It seemed like the only things that drop in D3 are gold and equipment.
