Dis bish gonna get slammed...again.
Basically she goes off on Paul's immense amount of online support because it...
A. Slammed her when she tried to talk trash about Ron Paul (she mad)
B. RP hasn't "won" a single state's primary/caucus vote...though (surprise surprise) no mention of delegates.
inb4 RP haters "she's right, she's right!"

Age: 13 lol
How can anyone support anyone else but Paul? We all know if he had even half as much the media coverage as the other candidates, it would be a landslide win.
Show all of the flip-flop mitt bull**** on the mainstream media. Then atleast recognize Paul as a serious candidate, as he is, and well we have a winner ladies and gentlemen. Come at me.Do I even cut? - IIFYM Abuser

It goes to show how myopic and brainwashed the RP-haters are that they cant understand this one simple fact: it isn't about elections or politics- it isn't even about Ron Paul. It's about ideas, which is a new concept to some people apparently.

It's a dumb article, but if you get worked up over it you are playing into the stereotype.
It's like a black dude who gets mad that the media is biased against blacks, and therefore goes and mugs someone.
It's dumb, it plays right into the stereotype, you only marginalize yourself.
Don't go looking for dumb articles to get worked up over, it's not very libertarian to insult people you disagree with. When all that says 'it is good' has been debunked, what says 'I want' remains.

He's done all he can do, I think his strategy was pretty good. He has raised awareness and introduced issues few were talking about prior.
Now it's up to his supporters to carry on the legacy, but, in order to do that, they will have to also adopt his attitude and general civility; else, they will become like those they hate. When all that says 'it is good' has been debunked, what says 'I want' remains.

Guess what? He's set himself up perfectly for that.
Nobody has done more to further the cause than Ron Paul, he's built his support, created a niche, now his supporters can work on expanding it. The only thing they need to be careful of is keeping a cool head and not become partisan hacks themselves. When all that says 'it is good' has been debunked, what says 'I want' remains.

Really? Tell me...how many delegates does he have again?
I didn't actively seek this out. It was one of the main stories on yahoo's homepage, which is something I sift through regularly, opening a lot of miscellaneous stuff from time to time. Being a Ron Paul supporter, it obviously caught my attention. I thought it was funny how she basically used this article as a vengeance piece against Ron Paul's supporter base, which she constantly insists is highly organized, but helpless. She claims his support base is small, based upon a total number of votes presumably. Strange how someone who tries to come off as such a qualified and professional journalist doesn't think to mention how many of these states are closed states, meaning only registered republicans can vote, and Ron Paul's primary support comes from the younger age groups, of which the staggering majority is registered democrat and independent. On top of that she doesn't seem to highlight the hilarious number of instances where voter fraud and vote tampering seems to have taken place (because why would she mention that when her apparent cause is to get back at Ron Paul supporters...not actually report any statistical truths).
IMO, it just sounds like she watched some youtube video (just like she claims the majority of Ron Paul's supporters did) incorrectly labeled him a racist (since she appears to admit this is what she did...btw I'd like to know which of the other candidates she supports) and got the ususal RP online beatdown (would think a real journalist worth a damn would've done some better research before throwing out such accusations...then again reading this article...it seems pretty consistent of her not to). Funny thing about that Mrs. Heffernan...people tend to defend a man who has been preaching a message centered around the US constitution much more ferociously than someone who, oh I don't know...done nothing but contradict themselves for 10-20 years (hello Newt/Santorum/Romney and to a degree Obama). Back in the day, such defense was deemed patriotism. These days, it's termed "extremist," "conspiracy theorist", and "bigotry." Weird how things change like that.
Anyways, I thought I posted this, because its just more evidence of a mainstream media source trying to influence people NOT to vote for Ron Paul (his campaign is hopeless so voting for him is wasting your vote...a notion that is unAmerican in itself).
Funny how most Ron Paul haters agreed with her idea. Like I said, those who want to defend his message (not just the man himself) are the real patriots. Those who are voting just to sandbag are the terrified sheep, lacking any real integrity or principles to vote FOR a candidate, rather than AGAINST one.

No, never. Patriotism has always been ascribed to violent warmongers and genocidal maniacs (srs). Peace has never been considered patriotic.

Self defense of your nation is patriotism. wtf are you talking about?
The MSM is not a singular entity. Yahoo is hardly "the MSM". Lew Rockwell makes posts bashing Obama regularly. He is allowed to. People are allowed to write what they want, say what they want, do what they want. Free speech is libertarian.
B. I'm not saying people can't say what they want. I'm saying that if you want to accuse RP supporters of incorrectly accusing the media of slamming RP, probably not wise to do so in an article on a large media outlet like yahooNews that does exactly that...slams RP and his supporters.
What if someone feels no candidate represents their interests?
