i never used to place much emphasis on diet, just eat like a beast was my motto...my problem was, i only had three large meals a day...now i switched to 7-8 small meals a day (you basically eat to the point of boredom), got on the scales and BOOM, 9 pounds heavier...that olive oil drinking helped too(eurggh)
i have no doubt of course, that if i stopped this, i'd loose it just as quick, but i **** u not, i expect to hit 200 pounds on one or two weeks!

ok, you beat me lol...no creatine honestly, nothing...just olive oil and peanut butter sandwich snacks every two hours! (anything i can get my hands on really). i also drink pints of milk, cheese on toast, beans (lol), hamburgers...i'm keeping it semi-healthy.
i did a calculation of the cals i consumed yesterday and it was in excess of 5000...maybe i should slow down.'i won't hit a girl but i'll slap the **** out of a bitch'

That 9 lbs must be all muscle!
Nah, probably just extra cellulite. Slow down. It's good to gain weight, but too much too quickly isn't too great."Sometimes you just feel tired, you feel weak. And when you feel weak you feel like you just wanna give up. But you gotta search within you and try to find that inner strength and just pull that **** out of you and get that motivation to not give up and not be a quitter no matter how bad you just wanna fall flat on your face and collapse." - Eminem

I'd say its a combination of many things:
a. food in your digestive system
b. extra stored glycogen
c. stored water due to the extra glycogen
d. subcutaneous water (this happens when you first start a bulking phase)
e. liquid in your bladder
There's no need to stop eating right, just realize that the majority of the weight you gained probably isnt muscle. I know when i go from a dieting cycle to a bulking phase, i gain about 10lbs in the first few weeks. Your weight will fluctuate alot too.

I did exactly the same thing
I gained 18 lbs in a month and a half
went from 223 to 241
I was huge, but I also put on a fair amount of fat and water
Probably half was muscle, half was fat.
Got a hell of a lot stronger (sqauts from 385x10 to 475x5)
I was awesome for bulking, but now Im fighting to get rid of the fat. Im sure the muscle will stay or be easy to get back because of muslce memory. I started with about 15% BF
Im sure if you do it with 10% BF or less, youll get more gains because your body will be ready to bulk because of muscle cell hydration & healthier more lubricated joints---->causing increased muscle leverage.
If you need to bulk then its AWESOME, but get ready for some serious cardio afterwardsOh Snap!

10 pounds of lean mass isnt possible
I'm sure half the weight you gained is water weight or "food weight" (the food currently in your stomach waiting to be digested
1 pound a week is about all that is possible as far as muscle weight gos, anything above that will be more fat than muscle
i just read where you said you eat nothing but olive oil, peanut butter, bread etc...
thats all primarily fat. never eat that stuff unless it's with a good ammount of protein, dont have it alone.
