Question about the beginner routine by all pro.

it says to do 4 sets of these seven exercises

    Squats
    Bench Presses
    Bent-Over Rows
    Overhead Barbell Presses
    Stiff-Legged Deadlifts
    Barbell Curls
    Calf Raises

does that mean i have to go through each exercise one by one to complete the first set? or am i supposed to do 4 sets of squats, then move on to 4 sets of bench press, and so on.

Do all sets for a single exercises together. The sticky should describe what weight to use for each set and what length rests to take between

do you know if the beginner routine would increase my vertical in anyway? would the deadlifts, squats, and calf riases be able to increase it by atleast 5 inches?

starting strength might be better since its a more sports oriented program, in particular it contains power cleans which are good for explosiveness.

is there another routine that you go on to after you completed the five weeks of the beginner one?

It's not just 5 weeks. You repeat the cycle until you can sustain the progression no longer.

AllPro has stated many times that his beginner program is not for athletes. They need more strength and explosiveness conditioning than this basic program can give. He usually recommends the Bill Starr 5X5 but many have done well on Starting Strength. I would look into SS and give it a try for several months.

The exercises in All Pro's routine aren't explosive enough to give you big gains in your vertical. Someone else mentioned power cleans... that's a good one. Practice jumping more is my advice... it's boring as hell, but you'll be amazed how much more ups you can have just by getting the mechanics down.
