    is 5000 cals a day enough?

    as you know, i weigh close to 190 and i consume around 4500-5000 cals a day, but i was wondering if this is enough for someone who has a super-fast metabolism. I don't do any cardio, so how many cals a day do you think i actually burn? i train 5 days a week...

    i would say its more than enough , probably too much, what you need to do is try an amount and see if you gain, if not, then go higher

    Since you have a "super-fast metabolism" I'd say you go for 4000 for one week, and see if your gain, and if you don't, then go up by 500 or so until your weight in the morning after you **** and piss goes up.

    look at it this way... im 260, have a decent metabolism, and im taking in about 4800-5000 a day. you do the math.

    I weigh 230, and have a pretty fast metabolism, I've never had to go over 4500-4700 a day. Usually 4000 a day is plenty for me to get good gains.

    I think when your bulking, you can never get TOO much calories ..........

    i weigh allmost 160, and i just started body building so it will increase allot in a couple of months , but right now trying to eat as much as i can taking down meals every 2-3 hours .....

    i get about 4000 - 4500 calories a day
