My back workout is:
Bent over barbell rows - 5x5
lat pulldowns - 4x8
As part of a full body routine 3xs per week.
But I never feel a burn in my lats during or after a workout.
Is this normal? Am I worrying for no reason?
Or am I doing it wrong?

Your not really going to feel a so called "burn" just a pump under your arms.. like someone inflated them...
so when you place your arms after finishing the exercise you'll see they are sitting on top of your pumped lats..
Have you been seeing increase in size w/ this routine of yours? if not your doing it wrong.Subscribe!

don't forget...
use your hands as CLAWS... just use them to pulldown, the rest, focus on your lats, and touch your shoulder blades together.
to master this technique, so your not using your arm as much, start out with less weight until your able to only use the lats.. comprende?Subscribe!

This, except don't do behind the head because it puts a lot of un-needed stress on your shoulders. Do wide lat pulldowns and make sure you are squeezing the last few inches, and you should be bringing the bar to your clavicle region. Lean back, stick your chest out, but don't swing the weight. If it's too heavy practice the form with little weight, and make sure you have squeezing your back down. Bent over rows are great for mass building , and ensures you will feel it. Try using light weight as well, but don't use momentum, just slowly pull the bar up. When your pulling the bar up it should be close to your body. You are going to bring it up to your lower abs or waist, but make sure you emphasize the squeeze. Hope that helps you bro, hit it hard.
I strive to be like myself because I know that I can always improve. If I sculpt my goals towards another persons, I will eventually reach it. No matter how far I advance, I will strive to be better than the previous day.
