One guy was complaing that he only got $9000 back for his tax return last year I told them we should all be happy, because there are people working in warehouses making $11 an hour, 40 hours a week, and they aren't complaining. No the gerbils aren't well at all Mitch. One died of Tyzzer's Disease but not before spreading it to the other ones. My dad could've maybe treated them but it's pretty much useless as the disease is so fatal. I returned the dead one and the other ones to the store and they're going to order me four more and give me store credit for them. My daughter cried...not that I wasn't sad too. I think it's a shame but probably my fault somehow. I am bleaching the tank, taking out all the bedding and removing everything that was in there either to throw it away or bleach that. The spores can contaminate and live in the bedding for a long time after so you have to bleach and sanitize the whole thing. Disease is contageous between gerbils so the other ones probably died shortly after I returned them.

The diet is so fricking hard. At the hardest part of my day I'm saving that part to have a diet soda because it makes me feel fuller. Or a celery stick or small rice cake with a little natural nut butter on it. But it's hard 2 days into sticking to this super strict diet. Gonna do this until Thanksgiving then go back on it until the Christmas snack time and alcoholic eggnog times arrive. But yeah gotta eat this way year round for the most part else with my metabolism I can balloon up fast.
