What's happening to your log Becky? Why would anyone expect you to look like the pic above or this one?

Thanks! I also found out this past week that running distance is way easier when you're not lifting!
Yeah, me and the low BF% don't get along well because of that eating thing.
My log took a little diversion, as it does sometimes. I'd rather look like the above pic than the one you posted, though. Ew.
Soooo...for all of you who hadn't caught on, I've been on vacation. A whole week without lifting was kind of crazy, but it was also pretty nice. My cousin got married in S*****re (England) on Saturday, so I flew out on Thursday, got there Friday, had the wedding Saturday.
My Sunday (8/7) run was around S*****re, with occasional stops for picture-taking.
Sunday we took the train back to London.
Monday, I walked and walked and walked and walked, as we did the Thames river walk, by the London Bridge, across the Millenium Bridge, to the Tower of London (and all over the Tower grounds), then a boat to the London Eye, a boat to Greenwich, then walked around there and to the Royal Observatory (twice), and then a bus back to Blackheath.
Tuesday morning, I ran from my hotel up through the park, past the Royal Observatory, around the park some more, and back to the hotel. Lots of hills. I also did 25 pushups every 5 minutes. 5.16 km, 35 minutes. Walking that day included Westminister Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and Covent Garden.
Wednesday morning, same run, but took different routes through the park - I ran through the flower garden instead of by the observatory. Had a train to catch, so didn't run long. 3.24km, 19:14. Wednesday was SMR's day to pick what we did, so there wasn't much walking, and an afternoon nap was involved.
Thursday was my day to pick, and it involved a two-hour trip to Dover, walking down to the beach there, then up to the castle, all over the castle, through miles of tunnels, up and down hills and stairs, then back to the bus station, doing a couple of laps around Victoria station, and eating a late dinner with an esteemed member of this forum.
Friday morning, my run involved Piccadilly circus, the gardens in front of Buckingham Palace, and other pieces of downtown London. Pictures were taken. 5.45km, 34 minutes.
I'm now home, and today was time to start getting back to the gym.

Yes! He gives bad directions, but he also pays for dinner and provides ample entertainment.
My feet hurt pretty bad by the end of every day, but it was totally worth it. The runs were actually pretty fun because the scenery was all new stuff and I didn't have to slow down so that a 6-year old and/or a 375 pound guy with a broken neck could catch up.
So, jet lag is awesome. I got my accessories in at the gym, got a shower, and was still at work about an hour earlier than usual.

Glad to see you had a nice time! You didn't skip a beat with training, either. Very impressive.

Yes, ample.
It was a ton of fun. I took the first couple of workouts a little lighter than normal, but I think the week off is really going to benefit me as I make the push toward the Olympia! Sometimes you don't realize how burnt out you are until you remember what it's like to NOT be burnt out.
Dunno. If I don't do Raw Unity, I might do the Fit Expo in LA. Aside from that, after the Olympia, everything is wide open.
I know. Isn't it amazing? SMR survived, as did the waiter at the tapas restaurant. Lesser minds might not have fared so well.
Amazing jetlag continues. Woke up this morning before my alarm again, and did the Crossfit WOD, which is...run 5K.
Ran it in 28:12. Less than 30 seconds off my best time, fasting, first thing in the morning, on hills.
Showered and at work well before normal, again.
I'm also down 5 pounds from when I got home. Oh how I love airplane bloat.314/231/352/881@123

Absolutely. You can come back fresh and hit it hard for a few weeks and then take another week off and kill it and the O. Can't wait! Oh, and do you know what time lifting starts on Friday?
I plan on getting a bunch at the Olympia and then selling them on eBay. I'll cut you a deal. No reserve price. My Training Logs:

Will do, although I don't know how much my autograph is really worth...it's not that great.
I'm hoping that maybe *next* week I can start hitting it hard... I'm guessing lifting starts at 10, when the expo opens. They have to finish all the lifting by the time the expo closes at 5, so it's a race to the finish!
Yep! $50? My value seems to be increasing. You used to be able to get a t-shirt covered in cat hair for less than that...
I noticed. And yet you trusted him to pick your food. Although he did do well with the meat parcels.

I meant no disrespect madamoiselle rich. I genuininely want an autograph, and I'm still a fan a powerliftng I would much rather keep the autograph.

Well, last year I tried two different shirts. One was a 36 F6, which was a disaster. I then tried Suzanne's 38 Katana with 34 sleeves. It was less of a disaster, but I still couldn't set up right or reliably touch with less than 275, and I couldn't press more than 285, so I didn't have a lot of room to spare. This resulted in me being bombtastic at last year's Olympia. This year, I went to put on the 38 Katana, and it was even worse than last year. Also tried the 36 F6 just in case, also a disaster. I remeasured, and it turned out that I'd put on like 2" around my chest and almost 1" on my arms since last year (while only gaining like 2 pounds, so it's not a total loss). I got a 40 SK, and it was okay, but I still couldn't set up right, so I ended up going up to a 42 SK. Stock, I could touch and press 225-245. An inch out of the sleeves, and I could touch and press 245-255. Another inch out of the sleeves, and I hit 275 for three singles. I'll probably count on coming in a little lighter at the Olympia and going something like 253-275-???. Still got two workouts in the shirt before the meet, though.
Today, at work by 7:30 again for a conference call with Japan. That at least meant that I got to leave a little early and go run.
Went to the track, felt orka fat running next to the men's cross country team.
Jogged 1 lap.
100m sprint, 100m walk (x5)
Jogged 1 lap.
Don't know if it was the heat or the muscle milk I had this afternoon, but I felt like death by sprint number 3. I had planned to do 10, but eh. At least I'll be rested up for speedy squats tomorrow!314/231/352/881@123

The "k" was for emphasis. Or because I didn't spell check.
My boss specifically asks me before she schedules anything before 9. As she was walking in as I was heading out to my conference call on Friday, she just yelled "Hey, jetlag lady! You better watch out or I'm going to get used to this!"

...I literally had a pile of used gear sitting next to me, and if I had to put anything close to my face (say, to pull a seam out), a couple were nearly vomit-worthy. One Fury, an Ace Pro suit, a pair of Ace Pro briefs, a pair of Predator briefs, a SDP, and an Inzer DL suit. Ended up shortening the sleeves on a Phenom, too.
But, I've broken all my needles, so it's time to call it a day on that.314/231/352/881@123
