Thinking about investing in some, maybe drop a few hundred. Its a loss i could handle. Ive got a few questions, and will rep for answers.
1. How does one go about acquiring them?
2. Does one just sit on them and hope they increase in value?
2. How does one cashout?
3. From what ive read their is no centralized backing, so what gives them their value, or insures i would/could be cashed out? Is it like the market, other buyers just buying them off you for the price?
4. Any brahs have any links?

it just seems like with the dark net sh!T, deep web, etc, they cant do sh!t about it. I mean, they can shut the internet down, but lettuce be reality. Something is worth what somebody will pay for it, so the market is their with buyers and sellers. Even moreso with word out/getting out

it says their is approx 6.2 million bitcoins in existence, with an expected 21 million in the future. seems the market is growing, but does this mean the value of each one goes down? i dunno, kinda a risk i wanna take, the loss doesnt mean much to me as of now.

im inclined to agree. atleast with stocks, options, commodities, etc its a calculated educated risk with research/knowledge.
This just seems like you are crossing your fingers and hoping lol. with that said, seems like its only gonna keep growing, especially in our digital age.

how is the market for selling bitcoins? it seems pretty easy to buy them, but how do you sell them for cash (dont want to get stuff)
only seems natural that it will come down. seems kinda like investing, by the time you hear the news, its too late.

as far as destroying the market, their is nothing we could do that the government isnt already doing better. brb, printin billions of unbacked dollars.
as far as their value, they(anything for that matter) is worth what somebody will pay for them. People are paying alot of bucks for them. The market is there.

lol, just because bitcoins are more commonly referenced with "deep web" doesn't mean it's bad. You can use money for anything, doesn't make it "suspect". Bitcoins is just electronic currency, and because it's so secure and can't be blocked or "frozen" by anyone, it's used for more "lucrative" ways of paying of things.

They use an encryption algorithm, hence why you need to "mine them". Basically you're using your computer to "decrypt" the bit coins. When you mine them though, you're decrypting bitcoins in general for others to use, that's why "they" give you some in return for using your computer and time.
