    Triceps

I recently started lifting seriously again after about a year off. I find that, when doing bench presses or shoulder presses, my triceps give out before my chest/shoulders get tired. The way I could do other exercises to work my chest/shoulders that aren't so reliant on my triceps, but it seems to me that it would create an even greater imbalance. So the question becomes: what should I do to help my triceps catch up? Have a day just working arms and really beat the hell out of them? Any advice would be appreciated. So would any workout plan targeting triceps. Thank you!

Make sure that you work really hard on your chest workouts form. If your triceps are giving out first, chances are that you are using them more than the intended pectoral muscles.

    Deadlift - 310x5
    Bench - 190x6
    Squat - 275x6

You're probably locking your arms at the top. Don't go the all the way up... that way you'll keep the tension on your chest.
