Currently on bulk. Have tried Purple Wraath, Super Pump, PreSurge Unleashed. Liked them all but want something new to try. Can't decide from the following...
Pre - Muscle Pharm Assault or Jack3d
Intra - Xtend or Intrabolic
Price does matter but not too much. Just want the best bang for the buck. Any help or opinions would be great. Thanks.

I second the coffee!
I just recently started doing this at the suggestion of a friend and it has definitely added a ton on intensity to my lifting and HIIT session. Ive tried alot of the other pre/intra supplements out there, and all of them work great as well, but this is cheaper and I actually look forward to it (like a reward) intra workout.“No citizen has a right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training…what a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”

seriously though man. caffeine and dimeth are what works. once you start buying into these pre workout supps its just starts a cycle of wasted money which could be better spend on proven supps. and yes, pre workout supplements work, but its because they have caffeine and other stims in them, which can be bought through much cheaper means. They might not have flashy labels but they work.

For pre what has worked good for me is Muscle Pharm Assault most recently. Super pump 250 is my favorite just wanted to add that in there.
For intra workout the best one in my opinion is SciVation Xtend. I take it during and after my workout and it helps me recover like no other supplement I have tried including Intrabolic. Dont get me wrong Intrabolic is a great Intra workout supp but Xtend is my favorite. If you need advice on nutrition, fat loss, building muscle, or want to know more on how I lost 40 pounds in four months you can reach me on my email jt_rsx@yahoo.com. I will be happy to help anyone out that asks. :)

My prework out is:
1 tea spoon of tasteless ON BCAA mix with 2 scoop of Gatorade lemonade into 20 Oz water
Dose: i drank 20oz of it 15 mins prior training and 20 oz intra
Recovery been pretty good and rest between sets reduced by heaps.
I think i have to try coffee one day. Which coffe work best though? Capucino?Long black?espresso?

Thank you everyone for the Scivation/Xtend support. for a quality intra-workout that has won numerous recovery product of the year awards its a staple in most people's supplement stack. Honestly its just around 20$/Month if you stick by 4 scoops during your workout, and the taste is amazing. The reviews don't lie as people will swear by better recovery, less DOMS, and decreased rest between sets. It will get a great addition in 2 weeks when NOVEM the new pre-workout from Scivation hits the shelves. Not to mention all the other good stuff we have coming out this year including a gainer, MRP, and many other things

I have jack3d and I like it. Decided to order xpand because it comes with 300g of free creatine right now. Both are pretty cost effective.
I don't tend to us an intra. There are links for free samples of a couple of things in another post (1MR, Gaspari) so I am grabbing those too.Stat Start Current Goal

Intra workout supplementation = Supplement company gets richer/you get poorer!
If you eat how you are supposed to eat then your preworkout meal provides you with all the protein that you will need to workout. There is no reason to ingest protein intra workout especially! Carbs maybe? But also not necessary if you have proper nutrition. If you must do cardio immediately after weights because of your schedule then post weight training BCAA's (Chain'd Out is the best - minimal gluconeogenesis compared to Xtend which is good) which do not have to be broken down for a protein source would be justified.
You only need to ingest protein every few hours (2-4). Constant intake of protein & or BCAA's will become counter productive not increase protein synthesis! My views and opinions are for general health information only and are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Intra - Xtend
Pre - (Having not taken either I feel uneducated to make an assumption) I would say Jack3d from what I have read on the forums. That being said both are talked well about so I don't feel you could go wrong.
I chose Xtend mostly because I have taken it, there was a study someone posted about people gaining an additional 9lbs to protein. I think the study was a little one sided and doctor was questionable.
Xtends tastes greate, and it was recommended by Kris Gethin on his 12 - Week program.
