Oh, I forgot one: as a PT:
Cardio
Basically cardio= I can be a fat person with poor eating habits and not get training because I have access to a treadmill 3 hours a week and then that 's all I need.

"sport-specific" and "functional" training
Both concepts are completely misapplied
Training transfer from "sport specific" exercises to the actual sport is zero
Functional execises (I'm talking balance boards and ****) are ONLY useful in a rehab setting, and you don't train a healthy horse like you do a broken horse, so using them on injury free people is useless
-Thats just my pet peeve, you're better off trainig for the actual adaptations, not trying to mimic "sport specific" exercises by making them more "functional"
-but of course the stupidier you can make an exercise look the more people will want to hire you as a trainerhttp://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=111082701

NEW
New is probably the most misleading and overused word in all of health and fitness.
Think about it for a second. Especially in marketing, anything branded with NEW insinuates that it is better than anything ever created in the past 500 billion years of the Earth's existence...
New is the easiest and way to mislead people, yet there is probably no way anyone can stop companies from using it!

CORE!!!!!!!! And 'muscle weighs more than fat'. I hate that. one pound of muscle is a pound of muscle, one pound of fat is one pound of fat. People always get that wrong. A square inch of muscle weighs more than a square inch of fat. it's a density thing!!!!!!

possibly a little off topic but my most hated things that haven't already been posted are:
(not so much from clients, just from people in general)
"you know, women don't really care if you have a six pack or not, right?" / "most women don't like big muscles anyway" etc
Who cares what you like? I'm doing this for ME, not for you!
"you're already in good shape, why don't you relax and eat some junk food and forget about gym?"
Usually this comes when you're particularly enthusiastic about a new training program or nutrition plan or whatever. You're right. Instead of being enthusiastic and getting stuck into what I enjoy I should go *in boring ass monotone loser's voice* "I suppose this is good enough. I'll just stop now and do nothing with my life instead".
Most hated from potential clients / fat people making excuses: anything about "not wanting to look like a bodybuilder", as if it's going to happen by accident and is much worse than being hyper-obese like you are now. And also "but if i count calories I will get anorexia" from a mega-hyper-obese girl who's entire diet seems to be candy.
