Yup.. 45 seconds max.
I've never been one to worry about being strong. As long as I look like I can move a car, that is all that matters
People look at me funny in the gym when they see someone at my size lifting the amount of weight I do. I never go really heavy. I focus on movement and contraction. This theroy is how I've made the biggest improvement in my body..
My recomp is going quite well. But as always, want to see quick results. But it's been steady and I can't complain. I feel like I have some major growing to do in the next 4 months before prep starts

Oh don't worry about me forgetting the kinda support you all are showing me!
I did last night.. Here at work I won't be able to. I feel like I have a slight quad strain as well. From playing basketball all my life, I have horrible knees. I've been hitting it pretty hard the last four months and it's caught up with me.
I put some icey hot on my quad last night as well. Helped a little but it's also killing me this morning."It's not bragging if you can back it up." - Muhammad Ali

Thanks cause I'll need it
Well, you've put in so much work up until now that it would be tragic to injure yourself - take it easy, will ya? It's easier to catch up after a few days off rather than after surgery

I agree, I never understand why so many people lose sight of this. I see so many videos on here and actual examples of this in the gym of people like stacking up the leg press machine or going way too heavy on bench or squats sacrificing form for pride or something. I will never forget like 10 years ago when I was just starting out, there was a national level NPC competitor in my gym that told me, "Never forget the three F's, Food, Function, and Form, those are the absolute most important things, because outside of this gym no one gives a **** how much you lift rather how much you look like you can lift."

Good morning all.
Tired this morning. Again, felt like I could sleep another four hours today. Had protein pancakes this morning. Good shizzle.
I'll be posting up my back workout from last night. Arms will be today.
I've thought about switing up my routine...
Train on Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat.
Off/Cardio: Tues, Thurs, Sunday
I feel I may be overtraining a bit. I dunno. We'll just have to see. May even start doing the FST-7 program. Just to shake things up a bitOwner of the Iron Mulisha

Set 4: 8
Set 5: 8
Very slow movement.
Seated One Arm cable rows
4 sets of 8-12
Good stretch and good squeez at the end
Reverse Grip BB Rows
4 sets of 8-12
Last set the 205lb seemed pretty easy but my knee was giving me problems so I quit after 7
Close Grip Pulldowns
4 sets to 8-10
Again, very slow ROM. Squeezed at the end
Total Time of workout: 35 min
CARDIO: NONE

seems you are a cardio hater like me?
I agree with whats been posted above. Form always wins over pride. Sometimes though I forget this and need to reevaluate what I am trying to lift.... but I am starting to get to the point now where I am more embarrassed about sloppy form then how light I am lifting......till we meet again

My fav by far
Cardio doesn't really bother me. It's just I'm so dead by the end of my workout, I just don't have the energy to do it. So that is why I'm thinking of changing my slipt so I can have at least three days of cardio in.
I also found out that when I had a gym partner, I would just try to outlift him or keep up with him. Ended up waisting a lot of my time and progress.
Yup
LOL, then I pop a lat spread and then they STFUOwner of the Iron Mulisha

It's kinda hard to keep the eating up with the work when you're in contest mode, though so it doesn't apply there, of course!
I agree.. Plus, I hate being on a "specific" schedule. I like to have the freedom to flex my schedule if something comes up"It's not bragging if you can back it up." - Muhammad Ali

Exactly. Unless you know how many cals you are burning exactly throughout the day, it would be hard for me to pump my cals up another 400-500 days that I "Might" overtrain. I like to stay constant and adjust when needed.

Agree. Plus it's distracting. I like to get in my zone.
