Not feeling my legs on legs day?

So I have this problem that during legs days I get overall fatigue much faster then I get my legs tired, when I started training I would leave leg work outs with my legs completely shattered, just going up a few stairs would require effort, now on the other hand my legs feel pretty much normal, no soreness at all, no specific leg muscle fatigue, a day after my legs hardly feel any different then any normal day but the overall body fatigue after the leg workout is huge, I feel like every last bit of energy was pulled out of me, my entire body feel crushed rather then my legs, my legs workout is squat, leg press, lunges, calf raises, all as heavy as I can, is this normal? I tried doing some isolation work with leg curls& extension to see if less compounds might help but the movement just feels like ****, feels so unnatural and bad so I gave them up, any ideas?

Ease off the "as heavy as I can" thing and take one or two leg days to increase reps (more volume) so you can really feel it in your legs again.

^ This fa sho. As with any muscle group, your body will adapt to your work out, therefore you got to change it up. Even if the change is same exercise, but just a change in rep range and weight.

Feeling empty after the leg workout is not strange.Training legs is hard, that's why 90% of ppl in gyms never do legs.

But "Not feeling my legs working on legs day"?Honestly, that's a first time i see someone says that. It's easiest to "feel" by far.

I did start out with more reps, 8-10, then I started working strength so I dropped them to 5-6, maybe it was that I'll try going back to 8-10 and see how it works. I'm pretty sure it isn't food, I know how "food weak" feels, it's more like cardio tired, heart going really fast, breathing faster, exhaustion ect`.
Yea Zoranm I know what you mean I used to be sore and tired for like 2-3 days after but it kinda slowly faded away.

your CNS is probably getting taxed too early ...things that can help with this are proper sleep, nutrition, and specifically pre workout nutrition...along with proper warm up sets
