Navid...I am in too bro. To be honest, I am disappoint. I set a realistic goal of 20 pounds...and REALLY thought I would see something dramatic and radical. I have not I know what I have done already is great...and tough, but I have not seen the change I thought I would. I dont see much of anything as being changed...it actually put me through a rough spot last night.
I hope my two month pics show more change than my first month pics...I am posting pictures in two more weeks, and I also think I may extend my journey until July 1st, instead of June 1st.~ Infinite Labs Rep

Your doing really well bro...20 lbs in a month and a half is great...not to mention you have prob put on some muscle so you've lost even more fat. Keep doing it if you still feel good...imagine like another 20! What is your next goal now at this point?
PS I added some ****ty before pics to my log..."500 fights, that's the number I figured when I was a kid. 500 street fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate tough guy. You need them for experience. To develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then, after, you realize that's what you are."

Disappointed? Come on man! Almost 20lbs gone in 6 weeks! It took me 6 months to lose that! The pics you posted after 4 weeks , I can see some VERY good progress for a month! I mean, put them next to each other and have a look at the middle section You will not see it as much, since you look in the mirror every day!
Keep going strong and this will be a motivation for thousands to come!
Looking forward for those pics in two weeks Impress us again!Im that kid, Im the kid who lifts more than you with perfect form, Im the kid who leaves his ego before walking to the gym, Im the kid that respects you if you respect him, Now you know me, Im that kid :)

There you are! Geez...thanks for leavin a guy hangin!
Yeah, I really enjoyed mine...thought the flavor was very rich...the chicken had a seasoning on it which made it almost TOO overpowering, but it was good. The dry part...yeah, with no sauce I can see that...mine was alright in that department.~ Infinite Labs Rep

Day 46 - Week 6
Hmm...I dont know what my deal is, but I must have hit a wall...I am not in a bright and positive mood right now. I feel...well, a little depressed I guess. Which is not a word that describes me at all.
I got REALLY poor sleep the night before last. So, last night...I was actually going to go hit legs, even though I said it would wait till this morning...but I thought, what the hell. Well...I had no desire to do it. So, I went to sleep early, got 10 hours in, which is also not like me...and I woke up...thought "ok, legs.................................no, I dont want to" And have felt like a wreck ever since.
I have this low pity for myself, and dont know why or whats causing it.
I am hoping its just a down day...and thats it. My GFs son and mom both caught a bug a while back...and she suggested that maybe I have that? That they both felt tired and no drive...I dont know.
Its 11:00am and I havent even eaten...I hate this feeling.
Gonna go get some coffee, cause im out...
**EDIT 12:21pm**
Just ate breakfast, almost lunch time now...but I feel a little better. I dont know what is messing with my routine...but whatever it is, my head doesnt feel as foggy.

Experimented with a couple new leg exercises, but didnt really care for the newer ones. I will be increasing my calf work, and think I will incorporate leg presses back in.
Post workout ::
3 small pieces of pork sausage, dipped in Sour cream. 1 Chicken wing, a handful of pork rinds, 20 almonds and a small serving of jello. Yeah, was hungry...and figured I was low on cals.

Keep it up!
You shouldn't feel bad whatsoever! You've lost 20 pounds, and right on time! Just remember there is NO miracle diet, they all take hard work and dedication. We all go through a little time every now and then where we just feel like being lazy. Usually I will just loosen my grip a little bit and lighten up for a week or whatever I feel like. Think about it, you've been hard at it for 6 weeks now and lost a good amount of weight. Maybe a little vacation like a week off, maybe up the cals just a little for the week or something just to re-energize. It won't set you back at all! Trust me if you do this then before the week is over you'll be dying to be back in the gym and fully motivated. Just don't go too overboard or go completely off your diet!

Keep your head up!
Great Keto Log and even more so, excellent success so far. I appreciate the effort you put in logging your accomplishments and even your setbacks. It really helps to see people with similar goals and how they achieve them.
We all have set backs and become unmotivated at times. The best thing you can do is look at what you have accomplished so far. Look at your gains in strength and your fat loss. Go back to the beginning of your thread and read through your own posts. Visualize your success and keep on track. Think positive and keep that positive energy flowing my man. Even greater success is just around the corner!
Again fantastic work and I applaud all of your effort and what you give back to the community! You are an inspiration to others, use that to keep you motivated.

Yea bro keep at it! Just remember that it has probably taken you the last few years putting that weight on...so it will be a long process taking it all off. That what I have to remember when I get stuck...hopefully it helps get you out of your funk. There are always plateaus when you are doing diet/training.

Day 47 - Week 6
Guys...thank you so much for holding my hand through this rough spot...I guess hearing it from an outside perspective is a good thing. I needed a little kick in the ass.
Bad news: Gained two pounds. I slacked on a couple cardio days...and I think that is why. My carb up weight gain only dropped by half...It may have been too glutinous of a carb up on that last one, but honestly...was worth it. I think I need to focus more in the gym, and get back on the hog for cardio.
Also, I just calculated (a couple days ago) that my daily cals, based on my new weight, need to be reduced by 100 cals per day from my starting cals, now 2200 a day
Also, I have decided (a long time coming) that I am going to purchase a bicycle, and ride to work...in addition to cardio and weight training. I am going to get a Specialized Rockhopper...it is mainly being purchased for commuting, BUT I think on the weekend (sunday) I will go for bike rides...there are some trails around my house, I will go off roading.
Ketocuts x2 30 mins before breakfast
Breakfast ::
3 eggs, 3 slices bacon
Lunch ::
1 chicken breast, with skin, 1 tbsp Mayo, 1 cup broccoli 1Tbsp with 4 dashes franks
Calories seem to be right on target...
Dinner ::
2 slices bacon, 7oz hamburger with 1 crown broccoli
Routine ::
20 mins cardio on bike, 20 mins on precor elliptical hill climb settingLast edited by mtfx; 05-18-2010 at 11:33 AM.

Yeah . . . so sorry! Work has been kickin my butt and the last thing I want to do when I get home is sign onto the computer! But I'm still here! And I'm still on the Keto Train!
I'll be posting soon.
Hang in there. . . keep yer chin up. If you're finding you're stalling out a bit, maybe it's time to look at the food again. You've dropped some weight which means your BMR has changed a bit. So either up the workouts or adjust the food.
Also . . . do you eat a lot of processed meats? Maybe it's time to cut those out?
Keep after it! You're still doing GREAT."It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Do you have to have 'breakfast food' for breakfast? Is it a mental thing for you?
Like today . . my breakfast rocked and made me totally happy. Natural Roast beef slices . . spread some cream cheese . . roll up. yumyum.
Or I'll have dinner for breakfast. Or whatever.
You could do a huge omelete as well . . . eggs with mushrooms and onion and peppers and whatever other veggie you feel like tossing in. . . . maybe top with some swiss cheese. SOOOO good. Throw some Franks on that and you won't miss your bacon at all.
Just watch out for the nitrates. You can have bacon . . . just get the nitrate free . .it's much better."It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Yeah, but we have a love/hate relationship. I do love them, its the best mental break in the world...but I dont follow any "program" I eat carbs...and eat them until I cannot eat them...I just go for it. I try to eat good carbs...but sometimes the cheat carbs are soooooo beneficial.
