Thanks my friend. I'll do my best to keep it up
No can do with that quite yet. Gym doesn't really allow any of that. But I'm going to start peaking around May 26 and I will include bands, chains, and possibly boards to try to get that 385. I will definately experiment. Thanks for the idea
Haha I dunno about 495. I want 460 fairly soon. Slow and steady for me is the way to keep my motivation up. Even if I thoguht i was good for it I wouldn't attempt it until I was sure. Missing lifts really messes with my head. I know I will have to change this outlook soon. Thanks for the vote of confidence man771/645/622 Single Ply

I'm the same way. Didn't realize it until this week though. I missed a few things last semester -a few reps on bench and overhead press and I'd stopped my squats if didn't think I could finish the set. However, until Wednesday I'd never experienced failure or really missed a deadlift. I ended up losing it and cursing out a friend of mine about a hour later. Feels bad man.

Yeah dude. For bench mising doesn't hurt too bad becuase I know I am already stronger than I've ever been
But I mean I've squatted 455, so if I load 440 on the bar and miss it then what will that do to me? So I can't really allow myself to fail until I have surpassed where I was771/645/622 Single Ply

I used to. I plan to again. This was only the 2nd time I have filmed deads in 2010, and only the maybe..... 5th working set rep total. So I haven't really had the time to fix issues. Over summer when I start pulling to peak for a meet that will be my main concern though. Thanks

As soon as I knew sumo deadlift existed yeah.
I pulled conventional (and with a trap bar) during highscchool. Never got over 405 or so
Conventional with a straight bar I got up to 425 with ****ty form.
I pull sumo now, but before my peaking cycle I will do a workout with both.... and whichever feels stronger at that time will be the one I go with.771/645/622 Single Ply
