Dark Choc (70%+) - Highly recommended for general health and weight loss. Does well for bulking too with all the AOX.

Normal Choc isnt great at all, too much fat and simple sugars to kick up the carbs in the wrong direction.

Its okay in moderation, however try your best to stay away because the nutritional value of standard choc is negatively potent, its so addictive youll keep wanting to eat it.

Summary: Best to consume Dark choc in moderation (a block or 2 every couple days).
Normal Choc should be shunned from diet but if it cannot be resisted, a little is okay. Otherwise endulge and find yourself on the eliptical for half an hour intense from the guilt.

the darker the chocolate the more fat it contains. 70% dark chocolate has about 50% fat 20% carbs

This maybe true, but the underlying principle i was refering to was if you were to eat chocolate for chocolate, dark would be the smarter way to go as normal choc doesnt have as many nutritional benefits to bodily functions.

    This.

In terms of nutritional benefits (read: NOT body composition), a 70% cocoa content is the suggested minimum. I've also found cocoa (either in powder form or from high cocoa chocolate) to be good pre-WO, as it's a vasodilator.

In terms of bulking benefits, it's the calories that matter- eat dark, milk, white, whatever you like.

Chocolate tends to feature strongly in my diet whether I'm cutting or bulking...
