Good/great tasting Casein?..

Okay, I only use casein for my last meal and I usually am like "ugh" to take it, because so far, caseins I've tried has had a thick texture (been using more water to get it liquidy - I just want to get it down, and I don't enjoy a thick texture) and the taste gets old quick.

I've tried ON's Creamy Vanilla/Banana Cream/and I'm using Cookies And Cream right now. So far I've gotten sick of them all, except the Cookies And Cream one is still ...okay.. at the moment.

What are some GOOD tasting casein's besides the above flavors?

I use WATER, not milk - so, that changes things. Perhaps a fruity casein?

Also, what brands do people use that are reputable for casein? I've only been using ON maybe. Thanks.



edit: Oooh, I just noticed ON has Chocolate Peanut Butter... experience with that? It seems the most appealing so far, as well as Chocolate Supreme right behind it?

Though not 100% casein, they will more than adequately meet your needs and will blow ON away tastewise. Imo UP is has the better formula and UP 2.0 has the better taste.

those are good in water and even better in milk. all the flavors are tasty in water since you're only using water

ON has a Blueberries and Cream that just came out and I like quite a bit. It seems to mix better than previous Caseins they made. Not sure if it's available on BB.com, yet.

Ive used UP 2.0 Chocolate PB, ON Casein vanilla, and ON Casein Cookies and Cream. Out of the three ive gone through 6lb's of ON Cookies and Cream and am currently making my way through another 4lb tub.

I recommend you try it, but honestly you cant go wrong with UP 2.0 ethier.

I have been meaning to try Sytha 6. I have been told it is a better tasting option.



Vanilla 100% casein with a scoop of Strawberry myfusion is ridicuous though.....I usually cut my casein with a scoop of whey for the taste.

I take banana cream ON caesin, mix it with water to make a pudding, and then mix in 1tbsp of nat PB. It tastes awesome, just have to eat it with a spoon instead of drinking it.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've tried to Cookies and Cream ON Casein, that's the one I'm on right now (stated in OP), and cutting whey with casein seems like a viable option as well, !

You might could mix some skim milk with the cookies n cream, then put it in the freezer for a while to try and make an ice cream out of it?
