    KETO working, thank you!!

I've been lurking since I joined in May but decided I wanted to say thank you to the people here on the KETO board. I've been on CKD for 8 weeks now and am at 30lbs of weight loss. I feel great, don't have those crazy hunger "I've GOTTA eat now!" cravings and I don't really even want carbs anymore.

The first three weeks I wasn't losing anything and after reading a little on here discovered I wasn't getting, get this, enough FAT. Who would have thought you have to eat fat to lose fat. After I figured that out the weight literally started to melt away. I wasn't doing any carb ups until two weeks ago and actually to my relief the weigh loss has slowed down a little.

I have more energy, starting to have way better workouts in the gym and my wife has even started on CKD. I appreciate you guys being here for information.

    Very nice progress!

So, uh, does that mean you hit your 30 lb loss goal? What's the new one?

I guess I should put some stats in.
    I'm 5'11" was at 265 now 235.
I'm wanting to get down to around 210 with bodyfat where I can see my abs. I don't care what the BF number is as long as I can see the abs for now. That is the goal.

    congrats on the progress!

I'm back keto-ing after a hiatus due to a medication. Today is my third day and I feel like I could run a marathon - I've literally been dancing around the house today. Its so great to not be hungry and be full of energy even after my workouts. And at only two days in I've already lost over 3lbs and serious inches.

Cyclical Keto Diet. It's the keto with carb-ups. weekly or bi-week;y carb ups. Some vary the time between carb ups and the length of them.
