I was fairly lean when beginning my bulk, shouldn't 6 pounds be very noticeable? Take a look and let me know. I am trying to bulk, but not this fast lol. And yes I got a new phone/camera this past week.

6lbs gain can be noticeable but theres alot of factors that have an effect on your appearance, like some of the above posts said depends on the time of the day, was it water weight or ur gains Lbm, I gained 12 lbm lbm a few months ago and my arms grew about 3/4 inch best way to decipher where ur gains r coming from is weighing urself in the AM and taking measurements so u can compare and contrast the numbers.

well keep up the good work man, just try not and take too many pics of yourself, take measurements, and weigh yourself too often. Because ones weight can fluctuate on a day to day basis, it can become a mental impairment and turn you off of your goals. Then again, it could also be a motivational tool... i try not to weigh myself everyday because my weight changes between several lbs and i become very unhappy and lose motivation.

not completely true, it will depend on your diet and water intake alot... you can't just go into a gym lift any amount of weight and expect to make gains, thats where a lot of people are mistaken. Although you may make slight gains over an extended period of time, you will need monitor your diet very closely. Especially in a bulking phase. You're in the gym burning calories irregardless and need to be fueling your body. Taking any supplements?

well if you wanna bulk you're going to have to up your calorie intake and eat like a monster. Me, personally, i don't worry about what i eat, ill eat fast food and foods with a lot of calories to help me put on some weight. Im active enough to counter act it and not see unhealthy gains. Don't go on a binge eating ice cream and cake though lol. You also might wanna look into a weight gainer. I take real mass by gaspari nutrition and muscle juice 2554. Ive gained about 30 lbs in a little over a year, but if you're gaining 6 lbs in a month then you will put on a lot more than i did. damn my metabolism!

lol I'm eating 3200 calories per day at 157 lbs. I think that's quite a bit. I also have a fairly slow metabolism (at least I used to), as I have been fat all my life. Only last year had I started working out and eating healthier. I started at 172 lbs last summer, dropped to 150 in 2 months, bulked up to 166 in 4 months, dropped to 150 in 2 months, and now up to 157 in 1 month. I am strict enough with my diet that I can gain or lose weight with ease. Though of course it's not always the weight I want to lose or gain lol.
