    What are some strategies and assistance exercises to gain strength off the floor in the deadlift?

    The exercises you've mentioned seem to be quad intensive...is that the primary area that needs to be addressed in "off the floor" strength?

    Snatch grip deads? For what purpose?

    Not disputing, just want to understand the kinesiology behind it.

    for alot of people strength off the floor weakness is a quad weakness but not always

    snatch grip would be to train a greater range of motion
