A Walk Down Memory Lane.

Ok I picked up a few weights and a couple of dumb bells from a used sporting goods store. Riding the bus I wound up lugging around 45lbs worth of stuff for several blocks from the store to the bus stop, then from the bus stop to my apt..
My back was killing me after the trip. I want to know how I did that 45lbs ago??????

So I take it you didn't tape them to your abdomen?

Your story reminded me of being HS when my buddies and I saved up enough for some big boy plates (for us), I cant remember if they were 35's or 25's but I remember carrying them home, like 2 miles, long, long walk.

my back sure feels the difference of 50 pounds less fat carrying around every day.
not to mention my back is way stronger

Actually I'm impressed that my back pack held up.
Sure felt like a 2 mile walk. Not near that long.
Did I mention the leg DOMs I'm still feeling from yesterday's leg work out?

Picked up 4 20lb bags of potatoes at the grocery one day to "feel" how much I had lost. LOLd right there in the produce.

I bought a 40 lb weighted vest a couple months ago. I've lost 40 lbs since I started working out. I was floored at how hard it was to even walk a couple of miles with the vest on.

More people should try things like this
I can honestly say now no wonder why my body was showing signs of breaking down. I'm really glad I did something before it got really bad {shudders}

Better yet people not getting into shape or letting thenselves go should be made to wear vests with 20-40lbs to help them realise what there doing to themselves.
