"I have always campaigned against the FDA getting involved in food supplements," he said in quotes confirmed by his office Monday. "I have very rarely seen the government do anything that was effective."Always learning.

California might not be such a bad place after all.
O/T I just saw on the news that obesity is the 2nd highest killer of people in the US after smoking according the the US government. And they ban ephedra! I hope Arnie talks some sense into the government.

Oh, I forgot to say I also saw that they have come out with a new drug that is supposed to help you quit smoking AND lose weight! This was on the news immediatly after I saw the study on obesity.
Come on give me a break. I wonder what pharmaceutical company is going to make a fortune on that drug. I'll try to find some print on it and post it.

Two sides of the coin:
1. Good that they will quit banning things that are only dangerous when taken abusively.
2. Bad because there will still be a need for product testing and regulation to an extent. Otherwise, you'll have 15 year olds doing 2 month long cycles of M1T. Hell, we practically have that now even with the FDA's involvement.
