Warhammer fails at the moment.
WoW is fun, they just released an expansion, and it should settle you until Diablo III comes out, which is the game we should all play. ;D

Well that's what my main mod char was. It was pretty fun in PvP. You do get a lot of kills once you start to understand how to play it. I got something like 1000+ player kills in a matter of days. You also have rather good skills as an archer. Only problem is when you have an assassin after you .. you need to learn how to counter them or you will get owned pretty quickly..

Never played Shaiya, but SRO is pretty fun. It even has three "jobs", which are thief, hunter, and merchant. The jobs revolve around the fact that the silkroad was the largest trade route in Asia. Merchants travel from city to city for profits, and pay hunters for protection from thieves. Very good UI and class selection as well.

f2p mmorpg, considered china's version of WoW but they recently released a US version of the game with the server located in Cali.
Starts off with 3 different races: elves, werebeasts, humans. Each with their on skills on a massive world. you lvl very quickly with quests at the beginning of game, but at 60+ it's AOE parties and dungeon runs. You can fly and ride animals in this game, battles can take place in air, towns and cities are also only reachable through flight. mobs, bosses, and dungeons are also underwater so the game isn't just on a horizontal scale, it's vertical as well, something not many games do.
Theres also territory war, sorta like castle siege on L2. A guild can own land and collect taxes on it.
my guild Conqueror beats opposing guild in territory war.

Personally preference. Some people don't take to the PvP at all and just do quests / level but others just get a char and PvP at the highest level they can within a specific zone. Really its up to you what you want to do. The PvP in this game is actually quite fun though. Plus you get reputation next to your name in the form of symbols.. So its kinda of a status thing to show off how many kills you have.

Seriously, I don't think a balanced mmorpg exists lol.
There's always something wrong with 1 class, and when they go to buff that aspect it ends up either failing miserably or becoming imba. So then they go and try to fix the problem by buffing whatever the previous buff's ****ed over and it's just a huge cluster**** of imba ****.
