I'm a 19 year old college student, and I'm wondering if personal training is something I could do as a part-time job. I've been working out for about four years, and I think I've read nearly every article ever written on weight lifting, cardio, nutrition, etc. (Ok, maybe not every article, but working out is what I love to do and I read about it a lot). What would I have to do to get certified? What type of certifications are legitimate and commonly accepted? Will my age be a hindrance? Thanks for any help.

You obviously have a passion for fitness so this could be a great career for you. There are some other places on this forum with a list of certs.
Once you figure that out, you should read my free reports on making it as a personal trainer - http://Super-Trainer.com/reports"Do what you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life" - either Confucius or the Dalai Lama - I get them confused -
